I was very surprised to find out that people didn't liked Phoenix. For me Phoenix, Memphis Bells and Medusas Path are the best songs from AONO...

Well i like parts of Phoenix. The synth is just not my taste. Memphis Bells, i prefer the original. Medusas Path is a really chill track.

Now about WoD, the lyrics Keith sings got me worried.

Fuck this and fuck your cash. What?

It kinda sounds like hes saying "fuck the prodigy, i quit, i dont want your cash anymore."

And "heartattack", fans having a heartattack hearing that the Prodigy quit?

Omg.

Fuck man, i hope they never get old. Hope they find the elixir of immortality so they can pump up albums till the universe dies.

I feel like originality is what makes a prod track a prod track and I guarantee that i can find 10 songs that are so different by prod that you wouldn't think they were from the same artist yet if you listen to them individually you would say 'oh ye sounds like prod alright'. These kids on fb and youtube saying WOD sounds just like noise yet they praise IMD? really? IMD was so good its nostalgic? Can you guys imagine if Liam was still trying to bust out rave tunes in 2015, im just glad my favourite band is exploring and dominating every field they dare to venture in and don't confine themselves. When someone asks me 'oh what genre are they?', I'm always puzzled for a bit and then say 'raw, bigbeat, original, electro' and it still doesn't make sense to them. Thats the beauty of it.

Phoenix sounds like the hallucinations you get from crossing a desert and getting into extreme dehydration.

You gotta be able to compare it to the original version by Shocking Blue and the cover by Nirvana. I mean, they're good and all but Liam's mix is THE SHiT.

The meaning they "found" in the song actually makes sence.

Ill propably gonna compare Phoenix then, maybe ill like it.

And yeah the FB comments are fkn insane. Okay, they got their opinion, but man, IMD feels nostalgic?

Yes, some parts do. Warriors Dance for example. And Omen Reprise makes me think of the 90s. Omen is just a Firestarter v2 for me.

And ill propably get alot of hate on this but i dont like Invaders Must Die track either. Compared to IMD, The Day is the total opposite. Its dark, sounds like a gameboy, mixed with military drums. That track is the most perfect fucking intro ive heard, along with SMBU. IMD is no waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay close to that.

Funny how all the three later tracks feels much more better than the first single they put out, Nasty.

Wild Frontier sounds like the most single worthy, even if The Day is better. I love Wild Frontier alot, its what Colours should have been.

I like colours as it is but i loved the version they played on the WOF dvd with the guitar riff and the darker bits, a bit like in WF when it says DANGER and drops into the dark rhythm. Maybe it was inspired somewhat from that version.
