are you listening to the prodigy cuz of "production quality" or because of the tune itself as whole?
People that keep moaning and moaning (which you do in every second post) why dont you just get over that prodigy has moved on, for better or worse.

Lets take some of the biggest bands/artists from 90's.
Chemical brothers, Leftfield, Underworld, Orbital, Massive attack, basement jaxx, Fatboy slim, crystal method, faithless..
What happened to these? they either turned to SHIT or split.

Chemical brothers are still making tunes, top technical stuff, but yet failing to impresse by making any good tunes.

Time has changed, prodigy still having the same essence as in the 90's.. Still have the energy... You might be missing some layers, some twisted sounds, the old scholl snares and other smart technical aspect of the tumes but come on..

If you are a fucking audiophile go listen to something fucking else. Pour yourself a glas of wine and enjoy the fukin technical stuff.

To me, every cunt who complaints over the technical aspect of the tunes, are utter idiots.

And the lyrics, lets again go to the past.

OOOOOOOOOOOOOONEEEEEEEEE LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE.
WIIIIIIIIIND IT UP WINNND IT UUUUUUUUUUUP...
OH MY GOD THATS A FUNKY SHIIIT.
YOURE NO GOOD FOR ME I DONT NEED NOBODY..

since when did you care about the lyrics? go listen to some x-factor stuff.

This is not me being a fanboy, this is just you being not passion about the music, but passion about tehcnical aspects of songs. Dont listen to Prodigy.

I don't understand how anyone could bash the production on the newer tracks.
This is best production Liam has done since The Fat Of The Land.

People calling it a rehash of IMD, I just don't hear it.
I hear the accumulation of everything The Prodigy have done over the years.
It has elements of every style and sound Liam had produced since Experience.
These tracks are far ahead anything they've done in the last 15 years.

And I would think that anyone who has been around listening to them since the first album would hear that.

I respect your opinon. I just don't agree with it. And I'm pointing out you can leave whenever you want since you seem to be lost here.

The production is great so far, although Nasty sounds a lot rougher than the others. There's a lot of hiss on it for some reason and the dynamic range is a bit fucked.

I keep reading over and over that "A lot of people this" and "A lot of people that". In reality there are a few people saying "this" and "that", but not a lot.

I did not like IMD.....AONO was a masterpiece compared to IMD in my ears although i live in the real world and i know IMD is a better album .But i never went so far to write what you did. It is one thing to say you do not like the direction the band took and another thing to say that Liam has lost it. I repeat....i hate IMD but i never felt that Liam lost it and thay gone downhill ect ect. You are confused and wrong. I love and worship TDIME because that is what i wanted after FOTL.
Do not confuse what you want to hear and how good an album is.

Which is why it doesn't make any sense for him to keep hanging around. I mean if he really feels this way, why is he here? Pretty much just to troll, that's why.

I do not care about lyics, but these lyrics are just plain stupid.
But to be honest i wouldnt mind as long if the song was any good.

I agree with you. I do not like some guys here who are prepared to worship even a mediocre track (Jetfighter era tracks ect which Liam binned or Nasty which is plain mediocre compared to the rest of the songs like i said and even in some reviews it is pointed out too) but i do not like those who are the opposite and hate everything from TDIME too.

Jr is a cool guy and although i do not agree with him i like him. He is not a troll but there are 4-5 people in here who write negative stuff about the album and Liam before they even listen to all the tracks.

I disagree, but you know what? You're free to leave. The door is over there.

what's with the attitude? it would be a boring board if everybody would yell "amazing, a 10/10" at every released track. it's cool he's not bashing it with curse words.

but on the contrary I have to point out a few things, 'cause I don't get 'em
First thing is, why are people complainin' so much 'bout the lyrics? they've always been a kind of word-game, something sharp sounding to shout it out during gigs, this ain't no poetry stuff (and thank the Devil for that). was Breathe or Diesel Power something to make poeple feel like high-class intellectuals? don't think so.

second thing is - what you mean with being fanboys beacuse of liking the new stuff? I love it 'cause it's great, it smashes, it's giving me exactly what I wanted and expected, maybe even more.

another thing - define "poor" quality. that's somethin' I really don't understand, I don't see a downhill ride in this new era, I see a huge improvement in comparsion to the two previous albums (which I like very much, have great memories with 'em). the rawness came back at last, a more massive and apocalyptic (the synths, my god, wall crushers) sound, somethin' to get your blood pump fast and give you a proper kick. at the same time it's still very smart, I mean the arrangements are "smart", the song doesn't sound like same amateur bullshit made with the typical schemes and studio techniques, it sounds like anything else I've heard, it sounds like proper Prodge smasher and that's why I'm personally so excited about it.

so from my point of view, there's really nothing to complain about, these new tracks, especially The Day and Wall, are what a Prodge fan needs - the energy, the anger mixed with ecstasy (no, I ain't talkin' 'bout the drugs), the detailed song arrangements, the sound that is massive and dirty yet sophisticated, simple songs that have a lot to offer.

yea, I know, tl;dr. whatever. I'm head over heels fascinated by this new era.
