You say you respect people who like the new tracks, yet you ask "to be real about it" and say it's "embarrassing", "it is that bad", "fan bubble". How's that not judgemental? I don't see any respect in there, not for the band, and not for the fans either. And you wonder why people suggest you to leave...?

Jr wrote: I do not care about lyics, but these lyrics are just plain stupid. But to be honest i wouldnt mind as long if the song was any good. I agree. I think even bgat sounded more credible, and since maxim is an MC/rapper why cant he come up with more than two sentences? WoD sounds almost like a Prodigy parody. ataferner wrote: Which is why it doesn't make any sense for him to keep hanging around. I mean if he really feels this way, why is he here? Pretty much just to troll, that's why. Maybe he is here because he is a fan or likes to discus Prodigy? What is the point of a discussion forum if its only full of yes-men patting each others back? There is a big difference between a board full of yes-men, a lively discussion and a disrespectful rant. I'm pretty sure it's clear to most people which category his post falls under.

So, to go back on subject... Now that I have decent pair of headphones to use while commuting, I've been paying some attention to the technical aspect of things. I'm far from being an expert on the subject and I judge music purely on how I feel it, but still. Out of the four tracks, I found one (Nasty) to be somewhat weak compared to the others technically (mixing, clarity...). I think that WoD is an awesome track and I feel it really well, but I find that the mixing of some of the sounds could be better. Especially that melody with the descending notes toward the end the last time that Keith is on. I find it's not loud enough. I also find that it could have been used earlier in the song. I get that it would have made the song more repetitive and I'm just nitpicking for the sake of it.

Nasty is growing on me tbh. The lyrics are a bit funny and silly too. Liam has always talked about there being a lot of humour in the band's tunes wich either tends to go over people's heads... or they think it's "unintentional" "Up up and away", anyone? If you dont think Kool Keith shouting "SMACK MY BITCH UP!" over and over is a bit silly (on purpose)... there's no hope for ye.

If you dont think Kool Keith shouting "SMACK MY BITCH UP!" over and over is a bit silly (on purpose)... there's no hope for ye. I don't dislike Nasty at all, I just find it a tad noisy and there's a really annoying squeaky sound when Keith is singing. It's kind of subtle, but when you hear it, you can't un-hear it. It could have been a residue of a sample, but there isn't one at that moment, and it doesn't follow a pattern with Keith's voice, it's weird. Apart from that, it's a solid track, but I can already say it won't be my favourite. I don't mind silly lyrics, they're part of what make The Prodigy fun, besides, I was walking on the street singing "where your dreams get real or your blood gets spilled, gotta face your fears in the wild frontier" earlier today. The lyrics in WoD add some nice variety and do have some punch. On par with their best lyrics when it comes to adding to the track and sillyness.

WOD is fine, good album closer. TDIME kicks ass, no complaints. Funny how the best tracks I heard so far are first and last. Nasty and WF sound a bit leftover-ish, no?
Anyway, looking forward to the rest.
