Well, its a solid album. I cant say that its shit because it obviously isnt. Whoever says it is, needs to have their brain re-arranged

Half of the album is really good so I guess that's OK in my book.

Pleasant surprises: RokWeiler, Medicine, Invisible Sun, Destroy, Rebel Radio.

Invisible Sun sounds like a collab between Massive Attack and Kasabian. Why the hell Rebel Radio wasnt released as a first single is beyond me. And I dont even mind the re-hashed Firestarter snares.

So I listened to full album again.

Only this time “high as a kite”.

And it was marvellous.

Great album.

Just like the 4 singles we already got I'm digging it more each listen. I love Invisible Sun and Beyond the Deathray. Only really disappointed with Ibiza. Just can't understand what the heck he's saying. The song might be good as an instrumental. Is the beat spouse to be like parody sounding? Rise of the Eagles could also probably be better as an instrumental too. Like that they tried something different though.

The Fat Of The Land pt. 2

DAT OVERHYPE.

New album is also the messiah in audio form.

How is it overhyping? It's all down to personal opinion.. hate people that take FOTL/MFTJG for the holy grail and generalize it by telling others THEIR opinion is wrong...

IMHO TDIME shits all over those two, I just said it :}

You cant judge the 90's albums with today's standards. The impact MFTJG and FOTL had will never be repeated. Only those who were teens in the early 90's have the clear picture. You cant judge fair an album that is 20 yrs old today. It is natural to sound dated and maybe boring too,you wont give it the credit it deserves.

Those two albums combined incredible groundbreaking quality with commercial success on the right time before dance music as we loved it back then died. Some say Firestarter was the last epic dance single of the 90's.Will never happen again.

TDIME seems to be better than the last two albums but no way better than MFTJG and FOTL. Another thing. We have heard a billion times SMBU,Breathe and Firestarter to a point that many tend to forget how incredible they were back in the 90's. TDIME is amazing but there is no SMBU,Breathe or Firestarter in it.

MFTJG 10/10
FOTL 9.5/10
TDIME 8.5/10
IMD 7.5
AONO 6.5

How the fuck some of these tracks were deemed better than AWOL I don't know, such a strange album with some absolute bangers on it but too many weak tracks

Personal taste but Rhythm Bomb makes me cringe, can't believe Liam has made something as bad as that.. it sounds like a parody of EDM

Then you hear something like Roadblox and faith is restored... weird album!

true that, tho I've started to really listen to The Prodigy some time before the Invaders era and fell in love with Jilted and Fat, and still after thousands of listens I still blast No Good or Smack with the same level of excitement. unforgetable tracks, the kind of ones that if you "get" 'em they will stick with you for years and years to come.

seems with the new album that's some of the tracks will do the same.

Every time I listen I'm hearing new stuff. Just realised Medicine is sampling bits of the 'Death of Yugoslavia' track he did ages ago.

Is Rok-weiler rocky like the live version? Or now it's more electronic? I hope it's a rock track!

it's a bit different, doesn't have the same sounds in the chorus, different melody line

but anyways, rocks the same way, the hard way strictly speaking
