I like the album more then IMD. It's a really loud album. What I don't like it's the fact that the sound is not evolved. I like electronic music coming from DJ's like Sasha, Nick Warren, Danny Howells and I have to say that listening to this sounds a bit lame.
I respect Prodigy for their live acts and their past albums and I think that TFOTL it's one of the best albums ever made with just 10 tracks. I don't understand what went wrong with LIAM after TFOTL. It's like Leeroy had the sound and when he left all the inspiration left with him? :(
Even the Chemical Brothers sounds different from back in the days but it does not sound lame at all. Their latest album it's great.
I respect The Prodigy, I listen to the album in my car but it's not what I wanted.

Liam said he didnt want to make FOTL part 2. IDK why, it would be awesome to have the funky feeling back like i had in Poison, Breathe, Funky Shit, etc.

I like this album almost as much as FOTL tho. TDIME is 4/5. FOTL would propably be 4.2/5.

The Fat Of The World. :evilflame:

It's more like TFOTL 10/10 and TDIME 6/10 :) But it's still a good album compared to the garbage out there.

Just geniously wondering this:

whenever I post here or when I was competing in the BK volumes, I always seriously wondered if most Prodigy fans just love them for complete other reasons than I do. Nothing wrong with that, cool that lots of people like the prodge. But still.

I like the nuances, melodies, crazy atmosphere's, great songwriting, mix of powerfull beats with a touch of pop (yes, I've said it), the FUNK, the swing, the uplifting genious of it. Catchy hooks etc.

But when you hear most prodigy fans making music, or talk about the prodge, it seems most people just want loud beats, bass and cool noise. Not too much melody prefered.

It's like the prodigy now want to make tracks like the prodigy fans do: loud beats, guitars, bass BOOM and some noise.

review will come later

People like what they like but when the amateur music producers start slating the band it always seems very arrogant.

and for a band that has done so much to change the face of dance music over the years that shouldn't come as a surprise. The Prodigy have spent years carving out their own unique niche, so why should they stop now?

How could they say that Destroy is not one of the standout tracks?...

I also don't think it's a standout track, but that might be because the bad memories of Destroy The Melody are affecting my judgement.

Glad that many reviews are pretty positive compared to AONO where every review i read kinda started with "I listened to Girls and ran off to the store to buy it and .. ;("

It wouldn't be in HMV's interest to say anything negative about the album. They make their money by selling music. I wouldn't expect them to ever say anything negative about any of the music they sell.

And even more when they're selling an exclusive EP...
