I might have a crazy opinion but i find this track to be one of the best of the album. Even with Sleafords singing.

I have listened to this nonstop.

+1 Agree. Maybe high expectation we had. Waiting for instrumental to give final judgement.

cool vocals, cool beat.

really fucking shit lead synth.

The problem is that you can easily tell that Liam was probably really into the shit synth
due to how loud it sits on the mix.

Oh come on, didn't you guys realize already that the track was supposed to sound stupid? Just listen to the synths, how could Liam make them while being serious?

Agree. This track is a joke and parody. Beat is maybe good, but all the rest is just bullshiting (intentionally).

Sadly this track is nothing special. And it's totally Piranha pt. 2, but even simpler. And it has Mescaline's melody. The whole track is just a little repetitive loop.
Anyway the vocals are perfectlty fits to the Prodigy.

Maybe just because of the youtube quality, but the beats are very low and quiet.

Ibiza was written after The Prodigy’s lighting man showed Howlett a prerecorded mix CD. The lighting man revealed he actually played the CD while the DJ (who Howlett won’t name) pretends to be mixing it.

“The new breed of DJs, some of them are really lazy,” Howlett says. “It’s just not on. Pre-mixing a set before you’ve even got to a venue — all this stuff should be live. It’s not that hard to bring some records and play them, come on. What the f--- are these guys doing? ”

this track needs to be approached in a different way I guess, it's like 50/50 Prodge/Sleaford. It sounds a bit like Prodigy covering Sleaford Mods even, keeping the witty, sloppy and the "fuck u and ur bullshit too" attitude, but spiking it with the massive beats and harsh, distorted bass and synths. personally, I can't say nothin' bad 'bout the track.

then again there's no track on The Day that I don't like, 'cause for now I'm totally mesmerized by the whole album, so.. my opinion is invalid propably

Actually it resembles a style Liam just is not able to allow his artistic freedom to change when he does a hip hop song. Release yo delf, Diesel Power, Under My Wheels, ill manors, 99 problems and now Ibiza. I'm not dissing these songs, I listen to many of them and can recite Diesel Power by heart, just something I've noticed.

Hip Hop can be fucked with, he should feel the need to get grittier than 8 bars and a silly rapper. Let's be honest, Sleaford is a semi rap group.

Ibiza is a skipped track for me.

Ibiza is the track that left me wondering the most when I first heard the album (was walking on the street with headphones on, so I didn't know what track was playing as I hadn't memorized the track list). At the first listen, I thought it was fantastic, lots of energy.

I was expecting something really awful, because Sleaford Mods, but in the end, I think Liam made the best of it.
"What's he fokin doin' blaaaaah" = instant classic
The robotic voice fits perfectly.

Can't say much negative about this track either, maybe the synths are a bit loud, but that's an overall comment I have with the entire album, some of the mixing is really weird. On some tracks, you can bearly hear the vocals, on others the synths are overpowered. Maybe Liam want's it like that, but it's not how I would have done it.
