TDIME is not better than FOTL or MFTJG but it is a little better than IMD if you like the path Liam took. If you are not in to this sound it is natural to prefer IMD.

Official Wild Frontier in Future Music Festival posted. And I have to say, I was sort of sceptical about how this particular tune would translate to the live shows. It serves up pretty well is the short answer to that. The energy generated by The Prodge on this track is actually a joy to behold - especially the 'danger' sections with the live guitars added (and Liam giving it loads behind the keyboard just as the 'danger' section is about to explode!). The guitar adds an edgier, harder feel to this track.

This is shit, studio version with live vocals, whats the point !?

CD just arrived. 24 hours early.

Thank God I can listen to it uncensored and without the annoying clicks and pops of the 'leaked' copy.

As opposed to....all the other non-studio versions that they put out?

The guitar section does actually add more aggression to the track. Liam triggers the arrangements 'live' from his bank of equipement - if your question is: 'is this actually live or not?' In his own words, the 'carcass' of each track (the beats and basic arrangement) is run from the beginning of a tune with Liam triggering sections and samples. He usually takes out the guitar sections too - so they can do that totally live.

But to address your main point: nearly all (though not exclusively) of his back catalogue are played 'live' in their original incarnations. Look at the last album: Omen (single studio version); TMTTH (single studio version); Run; WOF; WD - all played live as they were on the actual album - with vocals, percussion and guitars all played over them. Exactly like WF. The only tracks that had their own 'live' version from IMD were those that didn't translate to the live arena in their original form. Liam said Colours was a good album track but too 'linear' and not dynamic enough live. Thunder too, was a decent album track but Liam wouldn't play it live as it was. Colours and Thunder both needed upgrading to be suitable live. Invaders too (something they realised after playing the album version live - to a muted reception). Liam obvioulsy thinks WF has what it takes to be played in its original form (and he has always said in interviews that he prefers to play the original versions where possible because they are the best versions of the track - Keith added that punters would feel 'cheated' otherwise).

I actaully think WF rocks live!

1.Roadblox
2.Wild Frontier
3.Invisible Sun
4.Wall of Dead
5.TDIME
6.Medicine
That;s the only tunes that sound fresh to me,and sincerely Rhythm bomb is a disaster, the worse song ever from the boys.I dont know what was in Liam head to put this track on the album. Saddens me when I hear sounds from other songs of their own and put in new album. This is not the way Liam...

Replace Nasty with Baby's Got a Temper on the album playlist and it sounds like the album that should have came out after TFOTL.

a lot of TDIME tracks remind me some old tunes like the lost beat ep and from AONO for some drum part and synth effects.... but it's a good album with some killer tracks and different style of singing I really like invisible sun after my first hear :bringit:

It's alongside the four stinkers on AONO as the worst five tracks ever, but an honourable mention to the rather crap Ibiza too.

If WOD bad then all of Prodigy's tracks are bad. :) WOD is essential Prodigy.

Recipe for puke:
Mix Jericho, EITP the shit version, One Love, Serial Thrilla, Fuel my Fire, Get Up Get Off, Phoenix, Shoot Down, Colours, Worlds on Fire, Piranha, Black Smoke and Get Your Fight On, and you will have your own pukepie.

Be warned, do not put Rhythm Bomb (lol) or the god damn awfull Omen to the mix as it will cause dangerous injuries.
