oh i have no doubt. i've just been doing the games without it, im not much of an online player but i guess i kinda need it to get these achievements for nfs carbon and bomberman, i dont think i need it for dead rising

If you aren't much of an online player just get the Silver subscription. It's free and you get all the benefits of XBL just without the online multiplayer.

you also get 3 free months of gold i believe...i think i read that somewhere...if not you get at least 1 free month of XBOX live gold...so just test it out.... you can add me...im chumpclassic on there aswell

yea i've been meaning to ask, what's the difference between the live packages they offer? i've seen different cards, gold being one as well, i just figured it was more time to play online or something.

hmm, alright well i'll consider it. probably wont get it until i have enough games that need accomplishments done online but now i have some kind of idea what the difference is between gold and silver..
