Liam said it was a lo-fi video. Do people expect them to spend a huge budget on a video to a track that won't get played on TV (due to the swearing)? They aren't on a major label so won't be blowing fortunes on videos. Liam said they would do videos for non-single tracks. I consider this to be a non-single track as there is only going to be a 1200 limited edition 7" release of 'Ibiza'. Hardly worth making an expensive promotional video.

Why do these analysts all have a problem with the definition of 'single' ?

Ibiza is a 7 inch vinyl limited edition SINGLE, it has a VIDEO, an A and a B-side, and I will BUY it in a STORE in a CITY tomorrow, physically.

In this case the definition of single doesn't even have to be updated..it is as single as it gets.

Its not single, its just promo shit. Or special side release.

Only Nasty and Wild Frontier from new album are singles so far. (wikipedia is wrong too)

It's the first physical single release from this album.

I really hated the track, but when I saw the video.... it's much better now. Quite strange and funny experience, but now I do like Ibiza and I like the video.

Surely an analyst would know exactly what the definition of a single is? Anyway, the term 'single' doesn't mean much any more in this day and age of digital only releases. My point was this video was not produced for the purpose of selling 1200 limited edition 7" vinyl singles. Was it produced to sell more albums? Liam doesn't give a shit about picking tracks which might be the biggest commercial hit. If he did he wouldn't pick tracks with swearing in them which ensures they won't get air play. Maybe they produced a video for this track because they wanted to.

It's the most talked about track on the album (articles, reviews, interviews) it's no surprise they made a video and a limited release.

I'm not usually critical of the bands output. Indeed I love the album but this video is pure shite :-O Terrible. Even worse than take me to the hospital.
