I'm not surprised on the slightest and not sure why anyone would be, I've said it a few times on here but that is their last album and it shows... the band is built on energy/power/aggressiveness and you can't keep up like that in your 50's.

"There comes a point where you don't want to be Uncle Alan at the wedding reception."

Keith is bang on, they are getting close to that point but still at the top so best to bow out whilst still rocking it.

As for the NME the words 'Could be ending' do not mean are ending, this sort of shit sells papers and makes clicks on websites

Why the hell did you make a thread title like that, they didn't say it's the last album, they only said they are thinking about it... your title is as much clickbait as the NME one, please read shit before posting

with that being said, even if they didn't explicitly say they will finish after TDIME... I do realize that the fact they're saying it at all MIGHT, but doesn't have to, mean that.

IT IS TIME.

I hate the new album, but I'm glad its been a success for them. Time to make an exit before it gets embarrassing and people stop turning up to the shows. Always dreaded them becoming the Rolling Stones of electronic music.

That article is misleading.

Quote:
Despite their own speculation however, the band denied having a timeline for their conclusion. Flint described himself as being "more settled in the band and everything else than I've ever been". He added:"The people decide when we fuck off, but it can't go on forever.

"We'll just figure it out. We haven't set dates. I think this might be the first time we've talked about it."

No need for the drama. They never said WHEN they're going to stop. I can see another album coming out.

I don't think we should worry. There might be another album, there might not, but I think there will be more music from Prodigy one way or another. They will probably carry on for a few years yet, how many nobody knows. Liam said in Australia that he wants to carry on remember?...

Will Roma win today? This is the serious issue today, not Liam's words.

i would not be surprised if they call it a quits after touring TDIME. it feels like first real sign. it would be really sad :/ but
i am prepared. could there be real announcement one day? probably. doubt they would go to silent hiatus and stay there..

tho i am happy reading from spin article that Liam would consider doing side projects in the future.
to be honest i would love to see it happening. get himself away from constraints he has right now.. from being obligated to make "band album", live sound.. and theres no prodge anymore, if Keiths and Maxims vocal input goes away.

he loves beats, he loves writing music, said that many times. i doubt Liam stops writing.

it's getting harder and harder from him to make another prodigy album. it almost fell apart this time again.

Nme headline is misleading, if you read the full article you will see that things arent that bad. Maxim is in great shape, Keith lives the prodigy, I think he dont see himself as a part of something else, he is the one that pressured Liam to write an album. And Liam have few tricks in his pocket and a hard drive of 60 unrealesed tracks :D

one thing i have learn in all these years in BK, by reading LH words, interviews, promises is never trust his word.

But as previosly mentioned, once you read the interview, you can see that NME are after clicks, because they do not say they are gonna quit, they just took that sentence into pure abstract, misleading people who read the title. i guess it works after seeing all the fuzz here and in the interview topic
