I have no production skills, but I have ideas of what I would try, if I had skills. dunno if they could turn out good, just wanted to share
- I'd try a dub mix of TDIME or WOD. start with something like the intro of Massive Attack's Angel and progressively input the main riff of TDIME or the "fuck the cash" part of WOD - I'd turn Ibiza into a happier song, using similar beat and melody to what Fatboy Slim was doing on his album "You've come a long way baby". keep only one or two lines of vocals but repeat them. "dj blocks my lungs up", "transmit" or "whats he fuckin doing" for example - I'd stretch the burst part of Medicine and try to make it into a Diesel Power kind of track. or I would only keep the bulgarian riff and make something like Medusa's Path in terms of style and structure in any case, I'd keep vocals to a bare minimum. they often sound so out of place in remixes
