Why are we so negative again... Liam will likely stop touring in a shorter or longer while - let's appreciate what we have. A new era with many good tracks, and you still want Liam to change stuff. It's his fucking band, not yours lol

I worked out it's been 18 years since I first saw them... that's the first time I've ever stood there still during a set.

You can be negative when you buy tickets, travel and watch the band... not if you're sat on the internet in your bedroom.

Some of the best gigs they have done is when they've dropped a few classics, Break & Enter, Wind it Up, Jericho and Hyperspeed... it's not where you're at, it's where you're from.

Fair enough. Maybe the fact that I never gone to their best gigs from the 95-05 days (I was born in 92 so no chance I'm afraid) makes my expectations a tad lower. I just accepted the fact, that I will never be able to get into the past, and the boys are reluctant to play their older stuff nowadays. (And while my upcoming fifth time seeing the band this year might seem weak next to a guy that follows them for 18 years, I don't know if I can count myself as a person sitting in a bedroom :) )

I saw them two years ago, twice in a row in Manchester and just playing Hyperspeed mixed it up.

This set wouldn't work at a festival, people would get bored in parts...

overall a nice show, the floor in that place was great! it bounced!! but as already noted by previous posts, some of the songs really went down like a fart in church (ok slight over exaggeration..)

i found that some of the new songs started well, but people sort of stopped jumping half way through and sort of stood around, then just as it finished they kicked off again. GYFO and Frontier were good examples. Rokweiler sounded the best to my ears from the new stuff. Nasty does nothing for me really, although TDIME sounds very good, if a little slow and plodding.

I was surprised by the bass in wall of death, but the track, again, didnt do much for me. the bass in smack still absolutely kicks you right in the face, it sounds incredible all these years later. and liam has more or less left it alone too over those years and not pissed about with it. it sounds better for it too!!

breathe got people excited but i dont think it should be a set opener...people went absolutely nuts around me for invaders! hospital sounded pretty good too. voodoo and their law have been messed around with too much over the years and they sounded a bit muddy and have lost some of their power..!

overall it was a good show, the lighting and sound was good. keith seemed a bit uninterested, maxim was spitting off lines verbatim as per.. poor old Leo was drumming his heart out and quite frankly i dont know if anyone could hear a thing other than inbetween songs and the beginning of TDIME. people seemed to really know the new stuff to be fair, although the old stuff got a better reaction.

seen better shows from them live but this was by no means shit! think the entire setlist just needs tweaks and they will get a more consistent reaction from people.

Spot on...

Keith was a bit distant I thought, was watching him closely and a few times he missed lyrics or joined half-way through

Weird!
