That interviewer should be fired, I mean why is it always the case in Poland that the journalists that do The Prodigy are so stupidly, annoyingly ignorant? This is appaliing, especially given the fact that there's an entire legion of die-hard fans in this country, one and all of them ready to ask the never asked. Instead, we've got cliche crap all over again and the band driven to balancing between embarrasment and anger as they mutter forced answers to redundant questions.

Ok that's by the introduction, let's leave that bullshit alone.

For me it was their fifth gig I've seen and this one came to me after a good few years' break, and I must instantly reiterate this one was definitely the best so far. Here are the highlights:

# The sound quality was very good, the best I've experienced. The beats were so phat as if they were almost physical objects thrown amongst us. I had the feeling that everyone would go deaf in a minute. Yet, the day after I had no even slighest ringing in the ear. Therefore, the sound must have been engineered excellently.

# They introduced a new track (ROTE) into the setlist and they did that in Poland, one of the first if not the first time such a thing happens!

# There was an unusual number of people that driven themselves to being about to faint and rescued by the security. No offence, but observing their struggle was amusing from the vantage point of the first row. Apparently, it was the first gig for many of the 'victims' and they had not know what brutal circumstances awaited them in the mosh pit.

# Maxim was like retaining a profound bond with the crowd, in spite of constant MCing and dancing, very aware of what's going on all the time amongst the people. I particularly liked when he went like this line goes: "All the people from the front who fainted and are now in the back... I still see you".

# Maxim is now so powerful! Judging by what relentless energy he showed off the last night, he can easily go for a 10 years more at least. He was like each and every muscle constantly contracted and engaged throughout all the gig time.

# Firestarter faded into something that I recall being 4/4 beat, which was a nice surprise. In my mind, I agree with this tune being shortened.

# Wild Frontier, Medicine, Get Your Fight On, Nasty are the new tracks that hit with a blunt, ferocious hardness. I loved these so much, these went off properly. Obviously, one must always add the SMBU.

this is why i don't read any newspaper and i' m not a big fan of interviews. Information should be found by people first and not through some other people who manipulate it. Anyway i don't wanna fade in something too philosophical.

Hi all!

Ukrainian crew also was in da house. (2600 km from Kyiv and bak)! 5 hours listening to mumford and d'angelo while waiting for prodigy at the first row.
But it worth waiting.

Gig seemed to be short - prob. no weather experience (but it was in setlist)?
Other highligts:

Sound quality - 9/10 (yeah beats were intense and heavy)
Maxim/Flint - 10/10
Medicine to SMBU transition - 10/10
ROTE - debut so 10/10, mb main highlight for this gig

And also there was dawn during the gig - so it was really magical.

Great respect to all polish people and fans for take me to the hospitality!!

they will most likely play the new vertion of AWOL soon?

Doubt it, it's exactly the same scenario as Mescaline a few years ago.
People were begging for the track to be released so after about 1-2 years of playing it LH decided to rework it and finally give it to the fans in studio form, never been played ever since.
I can see the same thing happening with Awol for some reason.

And one question I forgot after gig:
What is the new song after The Prodigy gig?
I noticed old pirate song or something like this (I was drunk :))

During previous era it was "Stand up" and "Love is in the air".

Do you recognize this new song?
