Agree. Said everything about this track - overall happy but dissapointed. Miss old build up intro but this new one is ok And outro? Its awesome - pure prodigy, raw and dark.

Wish people would stop holding LH to his previous work or versions of a song. Just enjoy the fact he is releasing music still. I personally love this track, think it will be brutal live.
The idea behind strike one? i personally would see that as the first version, cant see him releasing different versions of the same song. That would bore me.

That synth is so odd, it's like what happened to the "Rok-Weiler" vocal, it's as if the low-end has been cut off. The overall vibe feels a bit like one of those reworks you always see floating about rather than an actual Prodigy tune too. It's still better than the Bratislava version by default, mind you. jonyintheplace wrote: Oh my God, what a fuc**in mess of a tune, the beats are indescribable, it sounds confusing, a lot of elements working together at the same time but with no sense at all, no structure, nothing.
The concepts of "banger", "it's for the live warriors" and "raw" are destroying his previous cunning song writing.
A few days ago I played MFTJG in my car and comparing such a perfect album, just any of old those tracks, the sounds, the production in which you could discern every sound individually and clean with all this...come on guys, don't delude yourselves.
Happy this was a b-side. And the new remixes (this era and 80% of IMD era) stink too. We've already seen it before, in the future we'll see this album as what it is actually, the same happened with IMD, first everybody was in love with it, now it's different.
Having said all this, I still think there are very good tracks in TDIME (Medicine is superb) but there are 2 Prodigy's for me, until 1997 and from the 00's onwards. And I'm not a troll because I know how most of you react against criticisms. This is a smidge harsh, and I disagree about Medicine, but the rest is pretty accurate.

Having heard the final live version of AWOL live (Marés Vivas last year) I prefer this version. For me it sounds more finished and not a demo like the previous ones, they weren't going anywhere.

Ok, so AWOL (Strike One) has beats and some samples from a beatjam - as i wished. Brilliant New image of vocals and meows for now....... they have to grow on me. Bridge from AWOl, seems its has less magic than a demo one. But a like this track, love this track! Where's "How many ways can u distort the human mind"

AWOL is really good track! Better than some tracks from the album.

Music is music and it must be good, bangin' or not bangin' crowds. I'm pretty sure that if they play their first 3 albums they will drive people much madder because they are better musical productions and therefore, they "bang".

events and crowds where they are attending, like to attend, are very different compared to 90s. now it's 50% dance 50% rock festivals.
i still understand what u are saying. i agree, in the 90s there was more depth, more darkness, more levels, more imagination. they did drugs.
maybe it's little bit that they want to prove they haven't gone soft with age. again i believe everything they do is real for them.
this debate will go forever. i guess i am happy fan, i really dig new stuff. and thats the end of line for me.

Anyone else agrees that AWOL has more energy than half of the songs on TDIME? NOT better, just more energetic. The first 5 or 6 times I heard it was on the phone until I used my big headphones. Mother of god! It's energy reminds me of the adrenaline rush and insanity of the middle - to - end parts of SMBU and Warriors dance. These are my favorite types of Prodigy songs. Well done Howlett, you've nailed it On a side note, I think it's 60-65% AWOL Beats and the rest is the regular AWOL.
