Well.. now that were talking about ages and frankly "sexist" views of what people shoud or shouldnt like.... i've allways recomended Hellsing for brainless hyperactive 12 year old boys or... 20 year old virgin nerds
"cose" that show was the shittiest excuse ever to see people shoot each other on the screen... had an absolutely shitty storyline.. that never really went anywhere... and ended up boring me to hell... buffy on the other hand... great storyline's, great caracther development, endlessly entertaining (for the most part) episodes... you know.. the things that most adults with brains actually dig and like to watch on the tele
How's that for taking a dump on other people's opinions? You did the same thing
Touché!

By your version, its place where noane cant critique this show. "Buffy The Vampire Slayer" more than lives up to its silly title. As a television show its pure soap mixed in with generally banal plot lines, but unfortunately it contains enough charm that it isnt too unbearable for someone. By the way Erika, I thought that You are three years younger than me, ssory but I mean girls much Younger then You.

Lol Did i ever say people cant critique the show? Do as you please. Thank goodness the show lives up to it's silly title... it was a much needed breath of fresh air into television...

Well me and the missus both love Buffy, as does my male friend.
We started watching it when it first appearred on UK tv around 2001 time. We got to around the 3rd or 4th series and I started working away and as we had been buying the video boxsets we she stopped watching also so we could watch it together. Anyway, I started working away from home and never got round ot watching the last few series of it, even tho I had all 7 video boxsets (plus all the Angel boxsets) sitting at home. My mate had since finished watching Buffy and was gutted we couldn't chat about it as we hadn't seen it...lol.
So end of last year we decided to go for it. Started at the beginning again and last weekend finished the final ever episode.
What a series overall. So many twists and shocks. So many funny bits from al lthe characters make it very watchable. The graphics stuff with the distings, etc are good and well made. Storyline (yeh some people may think it's lame and you can tell that certain monsters/ demons are men in suits) but that's part of the appeal. We know that these things don't walk down the street most days so take it with a pinch of salt. The saggy-skin demon in the last 2 seires is particularly funny
Anyway, I'll not spoil the ending. Have kept off the thread incase it was a spoiler, so i'll not give it away. However I felt they finished it well. If you've seen it you will understand.
Now we start watching Angel.....

I think Buffy The Vampire Slayer is one of the good series in this decade. I really enjoyed watching it. Maybe I should buy it on dvd so I can watch it again

I bought the complete dvd collection the other day haha. It has something like 40 discs lmao.
I'm gunna start watching it all over again. I love the Willow - Tara relationship and how Willow turns evil. That was awesome.
*Stares at huge boxset and grins*
