http://www.concertnews.be/recensietonen ... pop%202016Quote: Some huge circles that are reminiscent of a windmill join The Prodigy on stage. The band plays as true warriors and keep fighting until the end. Yet they give in a little too quickly when failure of their sound and abruptly leaving the stage. As a real phoenix resurrects the band from its own ashes and try to save the show yet. In vain, most people had already left the tent and the energy was far away.
The Prodigy was founded in 1990 by Liam Howlett. The musician get help from singer Keith Flint and MC Maxim. In 1992, the band came out with their debut album The Prodigy Experience. It put rave genre for the first time on the map with "Out of Space". In the 90s the band Firestarter, Poison and Smack My Bitch Up scored some big hits. In April 2015 the band with "The Day Is My Enemy" released his sixth album. The album was the first time since the 90s welcomed by most media.
As real headliners The Prodigy is about ten minutes late on stage. When they finally start, they immediately jump around. As in "Nasty" created the first moshpits and begins to dance the audience. The energy from splashes and never goes away. At "Omen" MC Maxim let the audience sing along and everyone goes completely loose. The only guitarist on stage, Rob Holliday, constantly runs away and again. He plays not so pure but knows how he has to bring in the atmosphere. The drum comes strongly out which mixes the rhythm throughout the set.
Early in the set of The Prodigy fanning the fire by using "Firestarter". Keith Flint behaves like a real wild roars composition and the song together. The band goes hard against means gently and pops one record after another from the speakers. When it is the turn to "Voodoo People" everyone goes completely out of their sphere. Nobody manages to stand still. The group moves constantly on stage. That energy is reflected clearly in the public that runs almost as exuberant.
Through all this liveliness forget Prodigy to build some rest points in the set. It is constantly moving forward but the public can, after a certain period of time no longer along with the speed. Fortunately trying to bring the band right before "Smack My Bitch Up" between an atmospheric piece with some synths. Just before that number comes to its climax, the sound cuts off. A big letdown for band and fans. The last technical problems a little more than ten minutes, making the atmosphere built up throughout the action disappears. The energy goes back a little on the large number of spectators left the tent, the atmosphere has changed. The band tries to three digits long to pick up their best weapons but the battle is lost. The Prodigy started very energetic and brought everyone to dance but a technical problem gave the band the final blow. google translate

Saw another review that called it an anti-climax and not just because of the power failure or the sound volume being way to loud. They said: even on auto pilot with the epileptic lightshow and shitload of hits it's a fine headliner for most of the crowd but nowhere the set becomes unforgettable. They are no longer relevant - which is fine - but when even the classics are played without inspiration it all became dated quite quickly. Shouting a lot of 'where my fucking people at!?' jumping and waving arms does not mean you are playing an energetic show when it does not feel sincere once. They described it as The Prodigy aint dead it just smells funny.
