If he is, he's taking his time, the last one came out two years ago.

Still no news for the single I can find anywhere so assuming we're still getting it this year, probably 2nd Friday in December, day before tour starts.

This lack of news makes me have no expectations at all. It's probably a good thing, but still, the lack of hype is disconcerting.

the lack of hype isn't necessarily a bad thing. every post-TFOTL album was way overhyped before release. people were dissappointed, no matter what. i remember when AONO dropped and "fans" on nekosite quit the forum and "stopped being a prodigy fan" because AONO was so overhyped it just couldn't meet expectations.

The last time I wasn't expecting a Prodigy album was just before AONO. I wasn't following what was going on, so I had no expectation for it either, in retrospect, it was probably a good thing. When it came out, I heard Girls having no idea it was from The Prodigy.

Still, releasing an album without having tested the tracks live is so much not like Liam that I don't trust him to release it.
I totally expect him to try it out live and then bin it for whatever reason.

I think it's my self-defence mecanism as a Prodigy fan. That way, I'm not too disappointed.

The silence is killing me but that Leeroy interview had some interesting info about the new album sounding like 1991 and full of acid (we kind of knew that from the Instagram posts).

I doubt much notice is needed these days to release a single if it's just done digitally (with maybe physical copies later). There's only 3 Fridays until the UK tour has started. I'd have hoped the single would be out before the tour starts. Other artists have done 'surprise' track releases with no lead up publicity before the day it came out. Come on Liam, don't prove all the doubters right by not releasing the single this year.
