well thats a different story. We should know by now that Liam goes by Valve time and thus is very bad at estimating release dates.
Personally I put zero value into Liam's words, but I highly doubt he would tease a simple "best of" compilation as a new album. It's very well possible he has a full album worth of tracks ready by now.
Whether it's gonna see the light of day or if he ends up scrapping it like he did with the potential pre-AONO and pre-IMD albums is a different story though. I can see that happening, it's Liam after all and honestly, I wasn't expecting an album after TDIME anymore anyway.

Though IF we end up getting an album, I very much doubt it's gonna be early 2018. I would suspect end of 2018 earliest although the whole BMG thing is making it sound like everything is already set into motion.

Wow, I'm always amazed by the fact that all my favourite bands know one another. And that they get Liamed too.

The broken new single this year promise means I've lost my faith in the new album coming out next year. Not just lost my faith in early next year, but lost my faith in next year period.

I'm reminded of the AONO version 1 and Jetfighter scrapped albums, and I think after those new shows this album is going the same way.

The only thing which makes me think something will happen in 2018 is the BMG deal, so at best we may get a pointless new greatest hits and a couple of new tracks to tempt the hardcore fans.

The sad part is I wasn't expecting anything until that announcement in September, I don't think anyone was, but after being Liamed again I have to throw away my optimism. If something does happen and prove me wrong then great, but I'm no longer expecting it to happen.

He gave us hope before the September 19th post when he uploaded this picture last year. At the time we all thought that we're getting an ep until that September post which came out of the blue.

Something should come up very soon (announcement or interview or anything to shed light on what's happening).
