So whilst not everyone is convinced, LUTS does seem to be getting a lot of love. Is there anyone willing to stick their neck out and say they prefer Need Some 1??

LUTS is dope, really digging it, love the synth after Maxims 10,000 lyric. Really looking forward to the tune with Ho99o9, I'm hoping it's more dark Hip Hop influenced rather than a mad, fast punk tune

Its like preferring Phoenix over Girls. I actually do like Love Buzz (The Prodigy Remix). I would say Under My Wheels over Girls

Many people prefer Breathe over SMBU, usually being from other music styles to Prodigy, for instance.
I don't - for example, simply because I usually prefer the more complicated, sophisticated constructions by this very artist.
But, this does not mean that Diesel Power is a less hitting tune, also put straight after the two above-mentioned. Same applies to Need Some1, here.
PS. Should be a good idea to simply enjoy the tunes, especially now - once we have new ones coming and don't go too far in comparisons.

Definitely blast Light Up The Sky on something that can handle and/or represent bass well cuz the low end in this track is ridiculous. Without it, you're missing a huge element of the song.
My girl Erin actually loves the track cuz it reminded her of AONO style and that is her favorite Prodigy album.
Light Up The Sky is like a mash up of AONO and FOTL styles.

Because at 2:10 I feel that the track just restarts with very few minor adjustments. Again, exactly at this point is the Nov-Dec Tour clip, that I also heard so many times. Need more evolving in the end. Those are some really good observations. "Need more evolving in the end." It probably didn't happen because of the risk of having a tune that "suffers" from overproduction. A possible solution would be to keep some parts in the beginning a bit less "active". For example..to give to the listener a small "idea" of what's coming with the acid and the supersaturated square-ish synths and then to unveil those. I'm talking about the 2 parts @0:52-1:08 and @1:32-1:48. "Because at 2:10 I feel that the track just restarts with very few minor adjustments." Indeed. It feels like the track has got a double finale and it reminds me of a technique (kinda debetable of it's validity) that some producers use to increase the "lifetime" of their tracks. It personally doesn't bother me that much tbh.

Light Up The Sky is like a mash up of AONO and FOTL styles. I have no idea why you compare it to FOTL & AONO. The closest thing to sound like AONO is Spitfire, but it definitly and still has the sound of IMD & TDIME. For me it reminds me most of the track TDIME + Thunder with Jilted samples. FOTL, not at all...

This is the kind of track which I can't easily decode. To me, it seems that needed a lot of work, because the ideas are good, but they sound like arranged in a strange way. On the other side, I love the Their Law synth and the vibe that track emanate. As many of you already says, the end needs more work. So far, in my opinion, we had two "ok" trax, but I'm personally waiting 4 Resonate, which so far (listening to the live version) seems to be a great track in its break-beats, melody and vibe. Of course I would love to hear some great stuff as Reson8 or maybe even more impressive.

We need details why elements of LUTS is from MFTJG or TFOTL. Vocal is definitely oldskool rave style from Experience, in last albums maybe TMTTH "push up your hands...". Beats similiar to SMBU, guitar riff - Their Law. Melody samples from Their Law or Voodoo and Breathe. Acid melody. Wake Up Call bridge.

I want to say I intensely dislike it.....but I can't. I want to say the prodigy are done.....but I can't. After need some1 I had low expectations for the new album. But after luts which has been played in my car for the last hour coming from work.....that's changed.i actually don't care, know or understand production, high end,low end, arrangements etc,so listening to it I can't analyse like you guys.but I will say this for the first time in a long while I've felt that fist in the air, start a revolution feeling from a prodigy single. This album has been pulled out of the fire for me. I would however like to hear something in the vein of rhythm of life,we eat rhytm, funky shit and release yo 'delf remix. But I'll still be happy, more running,/gym work tunage

100 % agreed , i thought exactly the same - that low melody should rise more into the track - dunno, maybe the album version will be longer and it´s more integrated ? Else it´s a great track ....
