If you ask me, WATN is definitely better than AONO. It haven't bullshits and with force finished tracks like Get Up Get Off, Phoenix, Action Radar, Shoot Down, Wake Up Call.

All Right Reversed and Burst Generator ARE the killer tracks.

Comparing WATN to AONO is like comparing the Wu Tang Clan with the Beastie Boys - it just doesnt make any sense.

I heard it and thought it´s good to chill out a little bit, but it´s not a party album...especially the last tunes.

I only listened to it 3 times, so my opinions often can change, like in the release of AONO !!!!

"Intro"
... boring

"We are the night"
... nice, but nothing special - sounds like a mix between old songs cos of similar snippets

"All rights reversed"
good one - they took extreme often used synthiesounds of state-of-the-art-techno in my opinion, but they mixed them very interesting (and not boring) together - especially in 2:25

"Saturate"
same opinion as in "All rights reversed" - no lyrics, but okay

"Do it Again"
Okay, they cancelled the boring melody of the preview version at the end of the track, but this doesn´t make the tune not really better.... it´s boring cos of the vocals how they were sung !

"Das Spiegel" [German track name, wrong article for the substantive ] ... "the mirror" it means !
Nice and funny melody - easy listening but I don´t like the samples in it !

"The Salmon Dance"
... what the hell was that ??? Classic Hip-Hop Beats, Classic Style Lyrics like in 1988 Hip-Hop and a melody for kids.... I thought it was Teletubbies first or something like that. It´s a parody, or isn´t it ?I should take a closer look to the lyrics ! Not bad, but really really strange !

"Burst Generator"
Nice to hear - easy listening, but not the best Easy Listening tune here

"A Modern Midnight Conversation"
Wow... the beats´reminds me on 80´s dance classics a la S`Express ....
The meoldies are very flexible here, in my opinion one of the better tunes of the whole album....

"Battle Scars"
Nice one - same as above... I like the main melody wich goes through the whole track... it has something of a gangsta tune

"Harpoons"
boring like the "Intro" ... no sense, only a boring bridge to the next track to me

"The Pills Won´t Help You know"
I really like the slow tracks of the chemical brothers, especially "Where Do I Begin".... this is a little bit too exhausting in the beginning ... after 3:55 it is nice

The album is better than I expected, cos of the bad "Do It Again" - it has some new fresh ideas, or should I say some better rechewed ideas ???

Has it Killer-tunes ??? Hmmm, not really for me ! It depends on how you define a killer tune. A Killer tune for me is a party tune like "Spitfire" or "Girls" ...it is a good, but not great Easy Listening album with some funny parts in it ....

I cannot compare it with AONO, cos it´s too far away from it, but I compare it with other Chem Brothers albums and I need to say, it is the weakest album of all of them, cos of the killer tune I missed.

But I will buy it for sure !

Burst Generator is an easy listening tune?? Me thinketh not! It rocked so hard at one of their recent shows that they played it twice. Try play'n it loud

No I won't, because for me that sounds like some disco shit.
First of all - melodies and beats are too weak.

I am afraid that people don't listen to real electronic music anymore.

That's all I can say on English.

There's gonna be a lot of people who don't like it, and I can see why they wouldn't. Everyone's like "It's the Chems! I want hard beats, funky hooks!" I can understand that. But I definitely love the album. It's my kind of music. I loved the new direction that Underworld has begun, too. It's all about taste, people. No one's going to convince anyone else otherwise.

As I once said, "It is good enaught to half of world love it".
