Boom Boom Tap - love the evil sound of the singer (who is she?). Kind of reminds me of Nicki Minaj on 'Monster' by Kanye. Such a different sound than the usual stuff they release.

So, I'm still listening to the new album hundred times from yesterday, trying to remain calm and pause my excitement to say few things about it..

As each album, this one's here has different stuff to display again.
Most of the tracks are similar and by this term I mean they're tied up well on this concept of evil rave sound.
I'd better & easily listen to the full album rather than split tunes
It doesn't have the versatility of other albums like IMD for example, but I'd prefer it to TDIME..

Fav slams:

Timebomb Zone (Rhythm Bomb how it should be :D Love the beats on this new tune and a kinda of NERO feel to me a bit )
Resonate (Back to the same feeling when heard live the dubstep version of Thunder)
LUTS (my current ringtone :-D )
We Live Forever (the Ultramagnetic MC's sample does it all in here. I'd probably leave Maxim vox cos after the first 30 seconds takes me to an oldskool revival.. massive beats & buildup)

Don't want to put rating to the album atm but I'd happily listen to it.
Respect to the band we've been raised under their buzz and that goes especially to the 30+ yr old ant mates around the world ;-)

Like what? The only thing is the sample that sounds a bit like Gun Reprise. Get Your Fight On have a sample that was used in the beta version of BGAT. I don't hear more than that from AONO era.

Btw guys any difference between the three vinyl editions?except the colours of course .

Nah. However, there s a (myth) that original black vinyl's have better sound on them.

The black edition is gatefold or not?

Black vinyl is the only vinyl not listed as Gatefold. However it's also the only vinyl listed as 180g.

After hearing the origins of Boom Tap, im starting to like that track more now. Its like the old days, take a random line and make a song out of it.

Guess im one of the few who is blown away by give me a signal.

An album closer.

Mix jilted tunes with aono drums and the fat riff with Keith and a pop songer singing pop lines.

This sounds like a really bad mix. Like mixing jellybeans candy with steak, potatoes, icecream and pizzasauce in a mixer. You expect to get somethig that disappoints you, but out comes glitter and gold.

This track is still the best one in my opinion. Holy shit, Liam gambled hard and got it right.

I expected some poppy song with similar feels of shoot down but i got one of my absolute favorite tracks of all time. We live forever and resonate is up there too but this track is just amazing, especially when it sounds riskfull.

2:34 to 3:11 is the No Tourists of this album. Not the No Tourists, but this one. Watching the cover and listening to this part of give me no signal.. this part.. it made the album for me.

Its like the bus is the taxi that i called. The tune is the taxi coming closer and closer, letting me in, there is Liam with sunglasses chewing bubblegum staring at me and without warning the bus drives away at full speed making me lose my balance.

Absolutely not. Am loving 'Give Me A Signal' too, nasty, dirty, acidic and hard. LOVING IT!!! Top production once again from Liam.

Glad to hear:D Been repeating Give me a Signal, Resonate and We Live Forever. Those three tracks are the bomb.

Nice review Peri... I see all the old BKers back for the new album like a hardcore phellas mash up..
REAL fans are very happy about this album, we just cannot ask more nowdays from a 30 years old band with fresh ideas every time..

My review of the album. I was yesterday in night club. Dj usually plays one Prodigy song. Now at the end of the night he played Girls, something from Experience, if I remember right it was Everybody In the Place and after that Resonate. Well, track by track dancefloor was more and more empty but I was in my element :)

And this was leading to that after clubbing I played in repeat mode all tracks of new record expect Fight Fire with Fire in my home from 5am to 7am and all the time danced myself :D. So, fucking good record if it makes dance like this :D This is at least third best Prodigy album, or ever better :)

Need some 1 5 - Very repetitive and shrill

Light up the sky - 8 - I love it. Although I should have another structure in my opinion.

We live forever 10 - It's already a classic

No tourist 7

Fight with fire with fire 7 - Ibiza style song. I like it more.

Timebomb zone 10 - Liam returned to his teenage room in 1992 in a time machine and borrowed this theme.

Champions of London 7 There are historical songs like Trigger or nuclear where Keith is the protagonist and would be a 10.

Boom boom tap 7 - Reminds me of the child rave. It is danceable. Made of less other better topics that could replace this one. This could be a b-side

Resonate 8 Another song with the label of The Prodigy. Liam knows how to make subjects like this,

Give me a signal 9 It's the best last song of a group album. The acid part is sublime, of the best songs on the album. Live will be great.

Pros:
- New direction regarding IMD and TDIME
- It has dance songs like TBZ and WLF
- Variety of styles
- Songs ready to be used live.
- Some parts sound raw and dirty and industrial. It reminded me of the time of TFOTL

Cons
Any. To thank the group that with an average of 50 years are still active, they continue to release studio albums and continue to give concerts.

Imagine being a fan of groups like the Rage against the machine, Blink 182 or Linkin Park.

Viva The Prodigy!

(sorry my english)

Give Me A Signal is 1000 miles better than Wall Of Death as album closers. I can't stand Keith's part anymore.

I'm not too bothered about buying the album yet, yesterday I went to a big department store here and they even didn't have it either on cd or vinyl so I'll be ordering it from amazon uk, but before doing so, I would like to know if any of you know of a special expanded edition or japanese edition with extras?

This happened with IMD and TDIME and I don't want to have doubles of the same album again.

The status of the Japanese album is still pending. It says 'to be announced soon'.

I haven't posted here in ages, as you can probably tell. I'm still waiting for my CD and tape copies to be delivered from the official store, despite ordering them back in August. What's the fucking point in pre-ordering from the official store, and paying for delivery, if I don't receive the album on release day? I wish I'd ordered it from HMV now, as they have always got things to me before the release date. Anyway, rant over. I couldn't wait any longer, and listened to the album on Spotify. I must have listened to it about 10 times already, and I honestly love every single track. My personal highlights are We Live Forever, No Tourists and Timebomb Zone. No Tourists (the track) sounds unlike anything that The Prodigy have produced before, and I love the change in direction. I'm looking forward to getting my CD, and properly blasting it on my stereo.
