i just installed it..and basicly it keeps clicking whenever i try and play a synth got any ideas?

Just unclick the "button" that helps you with the rhythm.

i think it's(one of the 6or4

lights)at the right side of the rec selection.

Check your audio latency and buffer size settings. You could have them set to low for your soundcard and it's drivers, especially if you're just using onboard audio.
