Just lounging around watching telly, what do my ears pick up, the dulcet tones of the beeby booby xylophone bit from OOS. Look up, it's an advert for Barclays, a UK bank. Hugely stripped back and slowed down, but it's so distinctive.

The music in the advert is "Chase the Devil" by Max Romeo (or a cover version of it in a similar music style). I'm sure the ad agency are well aware people will think of 'Out of Space' though as the majority of viewers will be more familiar with The Prodigy track than the reggae track.

Yes there's Chase the Devil on some of the scenes but when the man is in the "space scene" you can hear a ambient version of the Out Of Space track playing.

Yes but I'd be surprised if they paid any royalties or needed to get permission for 'Out of Space'. Cheaper to pay for "Chase the Devil" and claim that's what the ambient music is a version of.

This is not a Max Romeo cover as you can definitely hear Out Of Space xylophone and strings all stretched out, not just I Chase The Devil part.

The whole being ambient string part is Out Of Space.
