Just been given World's on Fire DVD, main bit works fine but as soon as I try clicking any extras, it completely shits the bed. any ideas?

Try it in a different DVD player (if you tried it in PS4 try it in a dedicated DVD/Blu-ray player) and see if the same thing occurs. That way you'll know if the problem is with the DVD or the DVD player. See if your DVD player needs a firmware update.
