you could try a quick techical test coggles.

look at your computer screen and shut your eyes. if it appears to be black then everything's ok. open your eyes again (obviously you need to memorize these instructions before you do the test) and the screen should be right in front of you. if it's about half a metre above your head to the left a bit and at a strange angle then you've fallen off your chair and need to stop taking drugs on your own.
