I joined way back in 2002, or maybe it was 2003? Brainkiller himself used to run things then, Spoz used to post massive posts every 20 seconds (usually to give someone shit haha) and nekozine was on the verge of closing down due to lack of news! ahh those were the days...

Can't remember to be honest. Before this the forum was gray, before that we had more of a message board which was black if I remember correctly... Hmm... *thinking*
When it comes to the "online community", what I do remember is that I helped with setting the security straight on the old official chat and the message board, that was back in 1997. I think that was the first place where I got to talk to other fans in a direct way.
Other than that we had the newsgroup, which till this day is still shite, Rob's message board, Neko's was up by then too, but it was a message board too, Juge's forum, where I still moderate part of the *unfortunately dead* forum...
Time flies...

2002 time for me, about a week or 2 before the BGAT video premiered, was the one that brought that news to the old old BK forum, and the ooooollld nasty neko forum and i remember juges prodigy forum, that was a gret place, but i think everyone went over to Nekos forum once she finally got a proper one up and running

on my birtyhday in july last year when i was a bit down (my girlfriend was away) and looking for streetsounds electro albums.
ended up pissing off greenie one and having an interesting and lively multi post discussion with kevo on our opinions about some of the lamer tracks in the series. fast forward a year and we're doing the same thing with the chemical brothers! where's greenie one? i need to piss him off to complete the circle
also remember there was an ongoing thing about the pro's and con's of croydon with bigsugar.
on a really anal note. if you go back to the old forum (it's still there) you can find your first posts. i'll stop now before i start coggling out

I remember I joined some time before BGAT. I joined in the period when nothing happened with The Prodigy. Can't remember the year. Is there a way to see it? Would be interesting to know for how long I've been wasting... erm... I mean, for how long I've been spending my time on the forum :D
My guess would be 2000-2002...
