1994, after realizing all those tune i liked on house-compilation-cds were from Prodigy. After hearing No good/poison/voodoo fanship got a boost though.

For me it was 1997. A nephew of mine bought fat of the land and told me I'd probably like it to. He was right...

This got me digging for more prodigy material and soon after that I discovered that most of their Experience and mftjg work was known to me as well, just never realised those songs were from Prodigy.

Hooked up ever since...

1996

The moment for me was when I heard Firestarter and Voodoo People on my friend's walkman. I remember being really blown away :)

I first heard them around 1993-1994 with Out Of Space but became a fan in 1995 when I received "Hackers" OST from Germany. Voodoo People got me into them. Still one of my favourite tunes.

In 1994, collected dance compilations and "no good", was on al lot of them, and I think it was one of the best dancehits that year.. But I guess i was a bigger fan when "firestarter" and "breathe" came out

Can't really say when because I was involved with The Prodigy
because of my dad around 94...

But ya know I was just a kid and got to listen to Jilted alot during car travelling...

So I can't say I was a fan around that time, I was just a kid...
but did like "No Good" for example.

Around 2002 I really started listening when BGAT came out.
I missed the whole FOTL era tbh.

1997, right after Firestarter and Breathe singles, which I liked very much. But it was after the release of The Fat of the Land when I became a fan, as the whole album sounded amazing (still sounds, of course), a very complete album, no bad tracks, 10 tracks that kick strong on your ass.

Sincerely, in Spain Prodigy were totally unknown before the Firestarter & Breathe era. So I discovered them in 1996, but I loved them when they appeared into the mainstream.

I know of The Prodigy since Android, but it wasn't until early 1992 when I heard G-Force (Energy Flow) that I got hooked.

interesting topic :-D

'95 for me...i was 13
On some small tv station there was weekly show that basiclly dealed with video games and was called Outer Space..with theme song of course OOS..I loved that piece of music, but had no idea about Prodge until I heard on radio very same song and they mentioned the name of the band;).
Also found out that some module that i had under name NRG.mod or something like that was actually EITP Fairground..still one of fav songs for me=))
And in December of '95 guys had a gig in Belgrade..I wasnt there, but heard much more stuff of/about Prodigy.

In 1996 decided which is my favorite band, after one friend borrowed me double cd bootleg with mostly b sides..that was it:))

going to sound like the old git that i am, but 91 for me.

was coming up on a pill at a club after a stoned notting hill carnival, and the ratpack were mixing charly says with something else. the mc was saying 'charley says always nick money from your mummy's purse for e'! at the time that tune just kicked.

breathe was the tune that did it for me, oh and smack my bitch up, oh and .......

seeing them live has always been the best thing about prodigy, but i think we all know that. you can feel the energy rise as soon as they start. it's electric when they're on form. which is nice.
