jugo thanks for warm-hearted post, I really commiserate what happened with You.

Erika Its not first time that I hear something like that from You. Life such an interesting and depressing thing, and I think that everyone have bad moments of their life and sometimes we must learn to cross them and leave all that past away. where your optimism is gone?

I little bit shocked of You post. What so horrible happened with You? Its not necessarily to answer that and its not necessarily to blame all other 3.5 million people of Lithuania. Its not so bad in Lithuania like You wrote, all that in past I think. Its 16 years past like we independent and we did a lot work forward. All education system and all other stuff is going like in EU, so don't be so naive.I living in Lithuania for about 22 years and I was many times far away from home, but I was always homesick. Its place where I always will like some of the things.

First of all try to find reasons in Your self...

cheers for the warm hearted replies! shit happens, if you know what i mean....

to be honest, everything after that period has been great. music's given me the chance to travel to different coutries, work in a music studio in london, meet loads of really interesting people, some of whom have been my closest friends for 18 years (yes i'm 36!), and a year ago also lead me to the motley crew of reprobates here. i live in a hot country, have an interesting job, and women want to sleep with me, but i haven't worked out why yet. if i figure that one out i'll start a topic

can we get back on topic now please

this is my hometown Plovdiv (my favourite Bulgarian city). It's the second biggest city in my country with population of about 350 000.

And next is Sofia - the city(and capital of Bulgaria) where I live in right now. Population is officially said to be about 1 500 000 but actually it's more like 2 000 000. It's big but not so beautiful as Plovdiv.

hehe I've been there and yeah it's really beautiful place - I love it. But I think that Sao Paolo for example is also a nice place although I haven't been there yet.

and what about Malaga or London or Budapest or Toronto? Aren't they just amazing?

it's become a 'what's the meaning of happiness' as well as a where do you live?' thread, which is cool in my opinion   have you not read the emotional outpourings of the last pages
