After Kubazz, I posted a sort of a joke comment like: what about the rules of downloading commercially available material? Do they not apply? - this was followed by:

Whoever did it, should've notified the parties involved with the exact reason why he did it. Somebody's taking their forum duties just a bit too seriously. OR, lets rename the forum to Brainkiller's Concentration Camp. Yep, that would work.

If the deletions was an attempt to stop the thread from going off topic, it certainly didnt help.

But i agree... a lot of moderation can also be too much. Atleast its not as bad as on the old forum where topics got locked or deleted everytime one of the 100 admins or moderators had a bad day.

And since they asked weither it was OK to post/request links to this tune, maybe it would be an idea to answer the question instead of starting this kind of mess and force people to ask again.

I agree. I would personally love to see those posts in the same order as they were posted. But yeah, back on topic. Shadow still sucks.

The Vexille version of Shadow sounds unfinished and like it should be leading into some main part (like it does in the video game version). I still like the video game trailer version best.

i was looking about nekozine and i was reading the part about AONO and i saw a track called "Slang Technology" and is rumourred to be a possible future B-Side

i think this is poisibly shadow

if so i know the new album aint gonna sound like this at all

I deleted several posts. Several people were asking for The Shadow, hence their messages got deleted. They were not asking if it was okay to post links, they simply asked for the track. Sharing commercially available material is against forum rules. I sent private messages to two people informing them I deleted their requests and explaining why. I didn't inform everyone, as quite a few people asked for the track.

One post by "ChemicaL" was deleted by me as it was a reaction to one of the people asking for The Shadow and it didn't make sense to leave it, as the post he was replying to had been deleted. It looked strange and out of context. I didn't inform him, but I should have. My apologies for that mate. Next time I will take better care.

Not just talking for myself, we do not want this forum to be too heavily moderated. This forum should not turn into a concentration camp, as "ChemicaL" put it We want to keep this forum fun, a true community, where everyone can post what they want. If you like The Shadow for instance, feel free to share it. Hate it? Then you're free to post so as well. Positive and negative reactions are welcomed.

However, posting commercially available material by The Prodigy is something which we do not allow. Messages which contain a link to commercially available material will be altered or removed. People who knowingly request commercially available material will get a warning. This is the main rule to keep, with on a second place be nice to each other. These two simple rules should keep this forum a nice place for everyone and that's what we want.

Sorry for the long post, but I hope this clears things up so that we can now go back on topic... What do you think of The Shadow?

I missed that too. It did indeed make the track more funky. Still, I like the track. I like the intro. It's not single material, but I assume that's why it's on a soundtrack. I'm curious if the version on PGR4 will be different.

What makes you think that Slang Technology could possibly be The Shadow, besides that the words "Slang" and "Shadow" both start with the letter "S"?

Loving the shadow tune, it works for my ears..IMO the best vertion of all tree, it would be interesting if Liam drops this live and Maxim would add some lyrics , some guitar maybe..would be awesom.But still this isn't the new album direction, it can't bee...After Heat wave, dead ken i doubt that our fellas will do this...Still this is better then nothing.Rock on Liam!!!

I said before that I like the 3 min clip and I'm sticking with it
so that basically means I like "The Shadow"
I like the intro, only thing I don't like so far is the ending. I don't like that snapping sound and I don't like the fade-out.

Good intro , and I agree with above... bad outro...

Anyway I like the track, it really sounds better with a headset on imo.
