I've been to Lithuania twice.

Never saw any women being beat up though

Utenos and Švyturys are my two favorite Lithuanian beers, drank a lot of those...but I never ended up beating women.

This is just horrible. Besides that it does NOT represent a typcal practice as a part of the nations culture and puts a fucking prejudice on Lithuania. It's more a problem of alcohol and primitive behaviour.

no not go erika lol... lorena also had a secondary reaction while she convinced some women to take a stand. many men started treating women differently. some in a way lorena wanted, others set out for screwing over every woman who thought the same way as lorena. there was a feminist movement in my city when that all happened. it ended up resulting in many bomb threats which resulted in policed meetings and the danger and threats only grew until the entire grew went into hiding.
