As we have seen in the news section (here), the group have just updated their myspace page, given infos about the new album and etc., but revealed they STILL haven't found the album's title. So, I suggest, let's just give our favourite band some ideas on what it could be!

And as I think it could be cool that some idea we find really turn into the new album's title, I also suggest that we make this topic seriously. (we can joke on others, but let's not fill this topic with stupid suggestions)

So, here we go...

what liam once said ''The new invasion of space shit'' would be nice and cheeky.

got a few ideas, but I believe they're mostly medium, but anyway...

Liam was telling us to get prepared for "the invasion of space shit", and now he's putting some old sci-fi poster on the background and mentionning "1950s sci fi horror" as influences, seems like he (or the band or the album) is going into this direction, so maybe the title will, too

so it makes me think, it could go in the direction of a word play on Star Wars V (The Empire Strikes Back), 'cause its their fifth episode, too, and they're kinda "striking back" with it

"Episode V: The Tripod Strikes Back"
or any other episode: "Attack of the Cyclones", "Return of the [Dead Guys]*", etc.

just suggesting this, cause AONO seems to be some imitation, too (why), and Maxim was talking in some interview about them being like a tripod

also, I just saw the movie "Dr. Strangelove" lately, and it made me find it would sound cool if it was something like it:

"[Dirty Wiredlove]* or: How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Buzz"

(*just putting anything in the square brackets)

anyways... your turn!

yeah it'd sound cool, but the use of the word "shit" would make another title controversy (like SMBU and Funky Shit), and could give them difficulty to properly release (without censorship) the album on the American side of the Atlantic, again... :?

but, if really it's their idea, I mean the one they are willing to take, well yeah I'm into it

Hmmm, well I hope you realize by giving suggestions for names of album titles, you're just narrowing the list of names they can use. There's no way they're going to use a title that a fan suggests for free. Their lawyer would put a stop to that. What's to stop someone from suing them for "stealing" one of these ideas?

You'd have to own a copyright for that particular expression in order not to get sued. Thats the only way they can sue you.

I have to say, I don't really care, I am doing this IN A FRIENDLY WAY, if law's gotta be involved in this, that's not my problem, I'm just giving away my ideas

and, segundo, the way I think it, if I'm giving away one idea, it's because a hundred more that could be conceived
so if I'm saying this, well that that that that and that haven't been touched...

anyway, continuing what I was saying:

"The Prodigy Presents: The Prodigy"
(supposing it's their last album)

You can't copyright names, titles, and short phrases.

I've always liked 'Front Toward Enemy' as a title for a Prodigy album, taken from the notice on a military claymore mine. Maybe this could be a album cover   Image
