Gigabyte 965P-S3 chipset drivers freeze:
I'm using:
Gigabyte 965P-S3
Intel COre 2 Duo 6400
DDRII 512MB 667MHz
Gigabyte GeForce 6200 64MB 64bit (TC 256MB 128bit)
WDC 250GB 7200rpm 16MB
Maxtor 200GB 7200rpm 8mb
I have one small problem, I cant properly install drivers of Chipset GIGABYTE GA-965P-S3.
The system would freeze when installing gigabyte chipset drivers, both from the disk and website, setup stops on ich8ide.inf .Then be totally corrupted at restart and need a repair /w cd. Also, windows XP wont stay stable for more than 24 hour with this boar it seems. I have checked the memory with mem check, and tried both IDE and SATA drives same errors. - Does not display total voltage for the ram or northbridge. I updated Bios to F6, but it didnt helped me and I still cant install chipset divers....
Can somebody help about that?
