I totally forgot I had ordered a collectors edition and it came in the mail from liongames today. So now I have a Legendary & a Collectors Edition Halo 3. I'll probably sell the Legendary come Christmas time.

I played thru the single player and I didn't quite know what was going on in the story. Anyone care to enlighten me?

Mine was scratched up. It looked like someone took a sheet of sandpaper to it. Good thing I still have my Legendary to play. I'll be sending it for a free replacement here in a few days.

Just out of curiosity, where in the DFW area do you live?

If u have th legendary edition then watch the halo 1 and 2 cutscenes (they also have a litle gameplay aswell) then u should be upto date with the campaign

I did watch them. I understand the story all the way up until about 1/4 thru Halo 3 then it just loses me. I'm going to play thru it again so I'm sure that should help.

I got my copy yesterday and the game disc was scratched up. I will do the same and ship the disc to Microsoft once I finish the campaign mode.

yea it's sweet as nut! That level when the FLOOD crash. the smoking ship and the atmosphere... One of gamings best moments.

yea man I'm doing that shit on heroic, it's fucking intense and by dar the best halo game! The repetition of levels and shit was what got me in the last games, but the levels in this game are sweet as nut! I think I'm near the end, like lvl 7 or some shit.

Few of us should get together and try co-op that shit on legendary
