Could they have J.Lo sing on top of this? That would be wicked.

Except Firestarter was good and one of the biggest songs of all-time. Who's gonna remember this song a year from now?

Well the only Prodigy tunes I don't like are Firestarter, Funky Shit, Fuel My Fire, Shootdown and Girls. What I meant to say is I feel the same about Granite as I feel about Firestarter.

but you're just comparing those two and it's totally miss-placed imo.
OR it is what you're trying to say Granite is pendulum's biggest succes?
I mean granite will never EVER be something like firestarter in any way.

Firestarter was massive. Granite won't even be remembered as a top 10 Pendulum tune. It will never be as big as Tarantula. Now that song was truly massive. I mean for literally 2 years that song was everywhere. And even if you don't like Firestarter, at the time it was a revolutionary song of sorts. It started the whole "Electronica" phase in North America, it redefined Prodigy's sound, and gave them a new frontman in Keith Flint which helped them cross the barrier of "techno" act to a full on "rock band". Granite is just like a bad outtake of Hold Your Colour. A watered-down radio friendly version of Pendulum.

I wasn't comparing Granite to Firestarter like that. I was just saying my feelings towards Granite are similar to my feelings towards Firestarter (in that I love Prodigy, dislike Firestarter, love Pendulum, hate Granite).

but your feelings about Firestarter are rather rare and even more rarely shared on this forum so... that was just a bit stupid to say and to expect everybody will agree xD
