Out of all these I've only heard Vault (I've only been listening to Pendulum since 2006)

Just seen the new pendulum was terrible...wouldnt really reccomend them...But still they kinda dissapointed me..all the vocals were fucked...were half an hour late...only played 9 songs...gutted

Man you gotta get some of their old stuff. Nothing beats their pre-HYC stuff: Vault, Spiral, Back 2 You, Voyager, Kingston Vampires, Masochist, Toxic Shock, Ulterior Motives, Guns at Dawn RMX, Tonight RMX, and the classic Bacteria RMX. I still really like HYC, but yeah their old stuff is just immense.

Ive really got into this song it aint that bad...And the new song may include the word nightmare i heard from a freind...It was a kick ass track live So lets see how it does studio wise

well i gave it a listen and i'm finding their pulling a rock band attitude with this one.. a bit of a downer... but with that said.. i really can't complain too much. with light on the post HYC tunes.. Distress Signal still owns them all and this one as well, but... I wouldn't really put this that far below Blood Sugar or Axle Grinder either.. as much as I saw "it's so shit" etc etc lol.. it's really not all that awful and not that surprising either to see this is the direction Pendulum are taking. it's standard pendulum supersaw lead style, and hardcore compressed pendulum beat sounds and bass. i'm glad i waited for the promo to come out and give it time to not even think about the band or get in with the bandwagon, otherwise i may have just said it's trash.. but honestly.. not shocking at all to see this is the direction they are going. fair play to them i guess, it's their big league contract to fuck up lol

I hear what you're saying Tom, and you know I don't jump on the hate bandwagons, but I really do think it's awful. If they told me oh here's this song that was an outtake from HYC I'd be like 'ok alright'. But the fact that this is the lead single of the 2nd album from the so-called biggest name in DnB and the group "tipped to be the next Prodigy", it's absolute garbage.

It's also about their potential that makes it more frustrating. Their back-catalogue shows they have talent with the diversity from Toxic Shock to Back 2 You to Slam to Distress Signal. They can do much better, and there's nothing worse in life than wasted potential.

BTW they have a lame new video for Granite... why are their UFOs you ask? I guess cause they used that lil 'alien whistle' in the tune, or maybe that's what the lyrics are about. I must have been too busy covering my ears to lisen

This is one of my favorite DOA Granite posts.

As if it couldn't get worse, Dillinja's remix was played.. and my God I take it all back! Granite is the best song ever... well at least compared to this ABSOLUTE PIECE OF SHIT! Dillinja, a producer I respect, should be fucking ashamed to put his name on this. I seriously can't believe that between the 3 members of Pendulum and Dillinja himself somebody at some point didn't say "this song is fuckin hurendous!".

As I said on DOA, Granite is not a DnB tune. Why try to force one out of it? I'd rather hear a Limp Bizkit remix.
