I hope and pray this gig will showcase some new tracks, maybe a debut for a new single track, that would fit in well for a single release in Jan/Feb (around the same time of year as Firestarter), with a hopeful album release around april/may. Yes i know this is insainly optimistic

Actually, the city was german, not hungarian (fun fact - as far as I know, the actual mayor is of german ethnicity - Klaus Johannes).

Anyway, I'm thinkin of going too... Saw them last year in Budapest, but why not again?

i didnt say the city was hungarian. the german name is/was hermannstadt

on 11th March, 1849 (during the Hungarian war for independence) Polish General Bem leading Hungarian troops defeated the joint Austrian-Russian forces in Sibiu/Nagyszeben/Hermannstadt...the victory was short lived as Bem was defeated at Timisoara on 9 August and the Hungarian surrendered shortly thereafter

there ends the history lesson for now

if you are in bucarest you should be seeing something about it....its all over romanian news sites and a lot more places on the web

http://www.bestmusic.ro/The_Prodigy_con ... 527-1.html

just google - Prodigy la Sibiu de Revelion

has the ggig been confirmed on the official site? - no...but they don' t update very often anyway

the official sibiu site doesnt list any events past 15 nov - again not updated

i feel sure that we will see something official soon either from the band or sibiu
