Sure they're rolling in the money, they've nailed it in that sense. The gamecube (compared too the PS2 at least) was a duffer. But they make so much money with the DS the greedy bastards. Why the fuck couldn't the Wii have been a more powerful console? Because they are basically just printing out money when they manufacture wii's and DS's! I mean how much would a fucking Wii cost too make? Not much more than a Gamecube I bet...

I suppose I just want the old glory days of nintendo back.... Donkey Kong, amazing Zeldas (when ideas were still fresh), Perfect dark, Jet force Gemeni (One of the most underrated games ever)..... I miss the old nintendo days .

You are right. The Wii is just Gamecube 2.0 with a different controller. I read on ign.com that the Wii is as powerful as the original box. So pretty much they are selling you a xbox for $250 USA.

According to leaked documentation from Nintendo distributors the Wii only costs US $ 158.30 to make (controller is separate).

I like the different controller I mean, only nintendo systems have given me a real sense of wonderment when I first booted them up. With the SNES, I fell in love with 2D platforming, with the N64, the analogue stick left me mesmerized, and with the Wii, I had the exact same feeling playing Wii Tennis. It's a shame they haven't released a ton of smash hit games, but I think some good stuff will surface. If they release a Mario Tennis game for Wii, I'll have to quit my job... I LOVE Wii Tennis. Perfect controls If they had a fleshed-out tennis game with the same controls....

I thought of getting one just for the retro games downloads like sonic and golden axe, but its a bit pricey just for that. I usualy only game when im hungover and then jumping and waving my arms around aint my favorite thing to do. But big respect to them for going from being predicted looser to be this generations winner in the console business.
