About the discussion about playing a live for fans or money. They have fans everywhere and the money is very important for artists, i think they do it for the both.

The playlist is always the same, this is for the poeple, they know the musics, the hits like SMBU, Firestarter or Poison. So they can more easily participate and they recognize Prodigy on the first minutes. Out of Space at the end is what poeple are waiting for: to sing with maxim and keith. It is like a rituel.

And when there are new musics, it is well i agree, but the aim of the live is not the same, i remember my last chemical brothers gigs in Paris, i heard for the first time some new tunes, and i was lost, i couldn't sing or move live on Galvanize or other olds songs.

I was coming to agree with many people, by saying its a bit of a shame, but Boubafeet is also right, with what he says.

I dont agree on that. When im going out i can dance to tunes i do know as well as tunes i dont know.

Since they played this gig after all the trouble with foq etc, i think the setlist is just a minor thing. It was great of them to play.

I wonder if bokorugro got back from sibiu, or staid there until now.

yes i am back in germany finally after a total of 3000 kms round trip...what an odyssey

arrived in sibiu on the 30th around 1500...didnt know romania was an hour later than cet  ...linked up with pitulon and his wife...he gave me the news the gig was cancelled

later in the evening we found out they landed in munich and were possibly on the way to bucharest...show might go off on 31st :?

morning of the 31st pitulon let me know the tv news said they would play at 1900...decided to stay just in case

went to the piate mare and linked up again with pitulon and went to the stage and there were liams laptops and the sex sign...so the gig was going to happen after all

not a big crowd to begin with but i estimate about 5000 people in the square...mostly from sibiu i think...

the set list has been published so nothing new there although... maxim kept on saying they were going to "drop some new 2008 shit"...at one point keith and maxim went over to liam and they talked for a few moments and then went back to performing...my personal feeling was that they were going to do a new track but liam said no...just my feeling although pitulon felt the same thing

the gig was short...fucking short...maybe the shortest theyve done... i think it was due to the schedule of the other shows that were to follow, starting later than scheduled, etc.........

the gig reminded me of the footage from red square... all the vapor from everyones breath and the steam rising from a very sweaty keith

now for the good stuff...pitulon got video of the whole gig :-D some really good stuff...he and his wife were down front

i got audio of the gig and i think it is pretty good if i do say so myself

once i get the audio downloaded i am going to give it to pitulon and he will put that audio on his video and i think he will come up with a pretty good product

i will upload the audio separately once i get it cut and cleaned up

pitulon got some good pics too...he was right up front

after the gig pitulon and i went to grab some drinks with the girls then we decided to go to the ramada where we heard the band was staying

they were staying there but had gone out just before we got there :( thoughts of camping out in front of the rooms crossed my mind...pitulon and i had posters from the gig and they would be great to get signed and i wouldve asked some questions about the new album but......we gave up after about an hour and went back to our hotels

i left sibiu on the 1st going back to budapest but pitulon stayed for another day or two and should be up on the forum soon...i am sure he will have more things to say

interesting ordeal surrounding this gig...glad i went and stuck it out but sorry there were no new tracks

respect to the band for making the effort to make it to the gig...it would have been very easy to say fuck it and stay home in essex for the new year
