:-D :-D
It WAS already pointless that they didn't play new songs
there were no new songs, or probably Liam didnt want to play them, but now there is a huge rumours about new album coming in may ,so i am little optimistic here...

Nope they played Den Ken back in 2005 at the Manchester Apollo, was an old track and they played the same set at Creamfields as they did for most of 2006
dead ken was played back in 2004 on the AONO tour!!

I personally think we'll hear liam play some new shit to see the crowds reaction. It won't necessarily be album material though.

you're totally wrong, the premier performance of Dead Ken Beats was on November 20th, 2004 at Revolution, Holland. and they didnt play Dead Ken at Creamfields 2006 (Daresbury Estate)

I would bet that Liam didn't want to play them at such a small show because of the short setlist and tons of people that were supposed to be there had to leave because the show got pushed back. There will definitely be new tracks played at this show. I would bet two or three. Remember they are just as tired of playing the same set list as we are of hearing it. Now that they have a new album to promote and feel confident about the music, its on. They just want to have the proper setting to unleash them, sounds like Gatecrasher is going to be what they and we have been waiting for.

Assuming Liam has said he's not going to play new tracks before the new album out and the latest news it would be logical to consider the album will be released between 5th and 24th may. Of course it's way too optimistic theory, but damn, don't ask me to continue count these years I've been waiting for the proper material. Nowadays, it's no fucking problem to catch Liam's balls when he's taking about the new album, and I think he does realize what kind of responsibility he take when such news are floating around. Just my 2 cents...

I don't really understand how a band can play the same setlist show after show after show. I know it's less work for Liam, but wouldn't that get irritating?

2004 - "I'm a trouble starter, fuckin instigator!"
2005 - "I'm a trouble starter, fuckin instigator!"
2006 - "I'm a trouble starter, fuckin instigator!"
2007 - "I'm a trouble starter, fuckin instigator!"
2008 - "I'm a... fuckin tired of screaming this song.. gee I wonder if the Action Radar fill is next..."

well i think they may play new tracks after all the last time i saw them was back at donwload festival 2006 *crosses fingers for this year* and they played heatwave hurricane whatever its being called now so I am very optimistic about it alhto i wont be going gatecrasher as it will probably be full of chav' twats stealing everyones stuff so i will take my chances with the download festival

Liam had said that he doesn't prefer to drop a new track live. So if this is true, we should wait a new single before this festival
