I think deedevil meant where in Red Square you were. In other words, there were more people crowded around the stage area than at the back.

OK, the facts: The main part of Red Square (where the concert was) is aprox 300m long by 150m wide according to Google Earth and Multimap. Now, let's take an average of 4 people per sq/m (there will be more at the front, but less at the back) and that works out to be around 150,000, which is more than the figure quoted in TLTS. So 10 people per sq/m is highly unlikely. Unless there were quite a few people crushed to death that day..
