hey people, i've been working on some things latley, still working on the track for MFTJG, hopfully it will be done soooooooooon.

well i decided to put up some tracks that i've kept hidden away, and like neorevs myspace i've added 6 tracks and done some stuff to the background and added a new pic etc lol

i've also paid more attention to using stereo sounds especially in hearts of smoke just to try and give the shivers :P

im just looking for a couple honest opinions on the tracks, its new stuff of course but i donno if i should keep it all like that or spice things up even more, i don't want everyone saying "awesome stuff coggs" i want a more human aproach to the tracks, like would u actually listen to them and all that, i don't want you guys to think aw great for a 17 year old or that , i want u guys to be totally honest about if the new shit is shit, or if its ok but needs a little spice in some places etc i don't get disapointed easily.

oh and by the way, some places are a bit bassy and disentoriated because of myspaces shitty 92 kbs

check it out people www.myspace.com/coggleszmusic

and yeah i'll upload them to rapidshare if anyone wants.

thanks in advance people !!! :-D

Dreamy Land - 4/5 nice d'n'b
Happy - the beats reminded me of experience stuff, but didn't enjoy it, kinda boring 2/5
Synthternet - like the way its build up. like this kind of ambient songs (kinda the same stuff im into and try to create) 4/5
Lux Aeterna - i remeber that cello sample from somewhere but dont know where (its from a movie, but cant remember which one, maybe Requiem for a Dream), good d'n'b, well attached to the sample 3/5
Heart Of Smokes - definitely the best new song, from down tempo /ambient mood to a more upbeat 5/5, still you could make those beats sound harder
Sakstamu - good song, best d'n'b from you and a nice melody 5/5

one thing i like about your music its that its short (i do the same, fuck song structures they are boring)

ps: i dont like your out of boundaries layout,

ah sorry man i thought it was only me and my colour blindness haha, i'll play about with it a lil more.

the guy who im working with he's also my best mate, but he works all week and then wants to spend all weekend getting drunk and spending time with his girlfreind so nothing was happening that much so i think i just stick to my own stuff.

by the way cheers for the very honest opinions on the tunes, its alot better if u get told were your fucking up lol

and to deedevil: yeah Lux Aeterna is like an alternative version of requilm i just thought i'd do my own version to see how things work :P

oh and yeah my layout thing it was a prodigy background before, not too good for a band myspace although all i did was take the pictures of the wall in the future section, put some mental effects on and wrote my name everywere

As i said in ur comments section, im loving these tracks mate. Especially Sakstamu and Lux Aeterna. And yeh, where's that cello sample from? it makes me want to sample a classical piece too lol (and i dislike most classical music).

I must admit I'm impressed, as I feel there are some professional elements in that and I didn't expect so

on the negative side: it's not all perfect, some repetition sometimes, and some melodies that don't hook me

but Sakstamu is the one I find the best, as I think it all fits well together, it evolves and etc. which make it strong as a piece

can't comment too much more after these first listens though

skastamu is actually apart of the main tune im working on now, it has the sewers lurk and drop the bomb and sakstamu all made into each other as planned. sorry the track doesn't have a name but hey i'll find one

everything herd in Lux Aeterna were all my own stuff mate, no samples

of course though its a remake of clint mansells Lux aeterna which in my opinion is much better because its real instruments in his, mine are just synths

I liked Lux Aeterna, sounded like a sample to me :)

What stuff do you use to make your tracks? Software or Hardware? both?
