Just thought there might be some people interested ( ), my HMV employed brother was checking the pre-order systems this morning and 'new Prodigy album' has appeared on the HMV computers. No release date mentioned but it means the album isn't far off - 2-3 months max?!? Some solid news at last!!!!!!!!!! 'Coming soon' is the official status but HMV normally don't enter things on the system until it's confirmed. NOICE!

Cheers mate, hopefully that will happen but HMV have had the Mo-Wax re-issues as 'coming soon' for the past 9 months with no release date as the label keeps putting them back

Personally i think they will road test a few tracks over the summer, tweak them and release the album around Aug/Sep time, then again i could be totally wrong but Liams always said he prefers to play tracks out to see what vibe they have. So i would be surpised if he released an album without anyone hearing any of the tracks live first.

In that case I think Amanda Ghost was the right one to do that for us. Like they said about her she's a 'taste consultant'. Don't forget Liam said that he hates the fact tracks get played live and are released and recorded by fans. Just as he said about AONO 'When you play the album for the first time it's BOOM Prodigy is back, but in the right way', he doesn't want to spoil the style by playing it live before he releases it. At least that's my view of what he thinks about releasing music the last few years.

I really hope this HMV stuff is serious. It sounds kind of right, but it gives me the feeling it's still a long time away from now. Sometimes TBA releases are in the systems for months and months. Lets just wait for official words. I know we can do that.

im sorry but do i HELL trust hmv, ordered dirtchamber that was in stock but not in that store (acording to the computers) so i paid on front and waited for a phone call, came back 4 weeks later and my order had been canceled, so they said they'd re order, then another 4 weeks past and it happened again but this time the manager asured me that i'd get it in a week, 2 weeks past and once again my order got cancelled and they said they had no proof of me paying my money for the cd so i got ripped off

take this with a MASSIVE grain of salt, hmv and there preorders, orders, and all that just most of the time seems bullshit, i loved hmv for getting my stuff, but now they don't have vynals in the shop and have a poor bloody customer services, i shop with virgin now

I don't remember if they had any tour before AONO release where they'd play any AONO track. Am I wrong? Could be, but as well as I know they played AONO track first in greek, on 1st october of 2004 and that was more than a month later that the album release.


BTW, good news, I'm waiting my balls off here.

i will only get excited when they officially announce it. store orders and pre-orders don't mean much to me cos that can be so easily changed

We should start proper harassing the shops. Phone them up everyday and say "is the new Prodigy album out"? Until they get fed up and after repeated calls and say "NO YOU LITTLE BASTARD I TOLD YOU ALREADY, I DON'T KNOW WHEN IT COMES OUT!!!"
