Our store, as will most if not all Gamestop/EB Games, will be taking pre-orders for Playstation 3's tomorrow morning.

$100 down will reserve a console. There will be very few available (obviously) and our store is only getting 5.

So go line up tomorrow morning @ your local Gamestop/EB Games if you want one.

I believe that´s just a strategy to get customers... The same Nintendo does with the N64 here in Berlin during it´s release...

Some shops just really got 5 - 10 consoles, others got dozens and only few people knew it - stupid !!!

i swear the launch of the 360 i was on ebay it was fuckin manic people buyin them up like mad, never seen anything like it, i can see this happenin with the PS3 and the Wii

Actually if we reserve past our allotment of 6, I was mistaken, we'll be fired bc thats how many PS3s our store is receiving.

Would a US one work back in Europe? Or are the games different regions like DVDs? I know its a different power system in the US (220v in Ireland) but this can be converted.

youd need a step down plug or adaptor that can run USA voltage in europe, i got a jap one i could get a jap ps3 if i wanted to but im gonna wait :D

but are all the games gonna work ? or do u have to get a jap game for a jap ps3 etc?

well i did hear that the games are all region free

Thought it was upto the developer to decide if they want their games to be region free, same as the 360
