I know I'm a bit late on this one (been busy this weekend with family), but I find just water is the best cure if you drink as much as you can before you go to sleep. And if that doesn't work, drinking more alcohol when you wake up is always a good one if you don't have to go anywhere.
If however you
know you're going to have a hangover the next morning and you have to go to work or school, try this:
Set your alarm the night before (before you go out to the pub that is, so you don't forget or are too pissed when you get in), so you wake up 30 minutes earlier than normal. Get ready like usual even if you feel like crap. When you leave take a can of strong lager with you. On the way to work, go into McDonald's, and get a couple of Sausage and Egg McMuffins (or three if you can eat it). This is the most important part, the more you can eat, the better.
Then, just before you go into work slam down the lager in one go. Go to the toilets, whilst avoiding as many people as you can. Go into a cubicle, lock the door and have a ten minute power nap. You'll feel great for the rest of the day after that. Just don't forget some Polo mints, or they'll smell it on your breath when you come out.
