hey people, i've got another question involving videogames.
i'm looking to buy a ps3 but before i do i'd like to know about its internet, when i was buying my elite i was gonna go for the ps3 originally but the guy i asked at the store said he was a 360 man so he wasn't sure and it seemed every other person in the store who worked there just had the 360
just wanna know a couple things:
hows the ps3 for browsing the net, is it a simpler version and doesn't have much acess to the internet, or is it a full blown internet were i could type on here at bk via my ps3.
hows its online gaming, the 360's pretty good for this but once again it costs money for the gaming and its fucked up on a couple ocasions aswell.
hows the ps3 for speed and other things such as having flash or java etc, and does it like to freeze online or anything that goes wrong with it ?
an answer from a ps3 fans point of view would be nice but i'd prefer somone to answer this who's got both the 360 and the ps3 who are both fans of teh consoles to know from a real point of view and not because the ps3 is free internet because even though its free is got a fucking big price tag on it when i buy it.
cheers people

The internet on the PS3 s alright, i only use the onscreen keyboard but you can buy a mouse and a keyboard for it (any usb ones) you can post on here with it, think iv done it myself cant get on MSN with it, used to be able to get into hotmail with it but i cant anymore, can still get into gmail but not my BT email accounts, wont let me log into play.com or ebay either lol.. places like facebook and myspace work fine with it, as does youtube and yuvutu
from what iv played online on the PS3, Motorstorm, Resistance and Warhawk i would say the 360 EASILY trounces it its free though, and you can tell it is free (could change though when home launches)
360 all the way imo

I agree with evans 100%
The internet browser sucks ass. There is something about the font in the browser that makes everything look so damn small. Its painful to my eyes to use the PS browser... I rather just use my laptop.
The PSN store is alright. There is not much to download compared to the xbox live store. Another big setback is that you have to have the console on in order to download stuff, on the 360, you can turn the console off and it still keeps downloading stuff until the download is finished.
I just use my ps3 for blu ray movies and for the Sony exclusive games, otherwise 360 is the way to go...
