I was really shocked by this album. For once a drum & bass act that had some nice diversity from the "we're going to do hip-hop or pop" method.
Here's my run through of the album...
1. The Foward - Choir styled hip-hop, with a smooth reece to tear the track through. Pretty much an intro track but a worthy one.
2. Era of Diversion - More reece action, standard Evol big deep vocal hooks accompanied with a George Dubya speech. Acid lines here and there, and boom cookie cutter beats, and the occasional stutter edit.
3. The Curtain Falls - Ambient, glitchy. Reminds me alot of Venetian Snares mixed with some other stuff.
4. South London - A mashup of old skool beats, stutter edited in the respect of BT. Very mellow, but the groove is spot on with the beats through the whole track, and of course you get some amens and Evol distorted beats here and there.
5. Death, Lies, and Videotape - Starts off glitchy, then kicks it into high gear with some screamin vocals and a drum-hop beat (i'm coining the term lol). Nice rap flow courtesy of Cypher Linguistics.
Kind of a anti-corporate media track, spitting on Paris Hilton and Anna Nicole while talking about the war in the middle east.
6. Odd Number - Stompy, rap hooks, it's Evol! Ewun and Vicious Circle lend a hand on the track to give it that Lifted Music feel.
7. Awkward Rhythm of The Dance - Lo-fi styled track, gabba, nintendo, glitch, it's all in there.
8. 8 Bit Bitch (Spor Remix) - What to say.. it's a Spor remix so it's hot!
9. I'm Happy Your Grave Is Next To Mine - Ambient, electronica fueled drum & bass. Another one of those let's do something different tracks.
10. 5:30 PM - Pitchy, stuttered drum grooves crafted perfectly and then filtered to hell here and there, sped up, slowed down... and then you get more NES sounds to go with it.
11. Reality Check - Standard drum & bass, cookie cutter beats, filtered distortion on the synth lines, and then some Evol deep vocal hooks.
12. Smoke and Mirrors - Metal drum & bass with some Slayer styled vocal lines courtesy of Arron Bedard from BANE.
13. Mutiny - Take the Halloween theme and rework the melody, there's Mutiny for you with some Evol tech-step beats and a thick reece to go with it.
14. Double Glock - Total glitch, not my cup of tea but glitch fans may love it.
15. Dead On Arrival - For anyone who's been around DOA forums long enough to know the Hin story, this one is for you. "A man fucked with my father tonight, and I put hin in his place!"
16. Gunpowder Plot - Dubstep massive, yep Evol pulled out all the stops and did a dubstep tune!
17. Middle of The Night - Think Concord Dawn, then toss Evol Intent into the mix and you get a brilliant roller tune with some catchy love vox and tearin reeces! Probably my favourite track off the whole album.
18. The Oscine's Lament - Hyperspeed beats, lo-fi ambient sounds layed over top, and stuttery as hell.
19. Maybe We'll Dance Tomorrow - Slow catchy beats thrown over some live bass guitar and slick pitchy stuttery synth lines, then toss some live drums in the mix and there you go. Really cool track overall.
In all you get 19 quality tracks of American Drum & Bass madness from the dirty south. Plus it's kind of a kick in the pants to people who think Reason sucks because that's primarily what these guys use! lol So enjoy the album if you get it!

There are two version of this album; the CD version and the LP Version.
The LP version has 8-9 tracks and one of those is exclusive to the LP. The rest are tracks that are also on the CD version, but these versions are longer on the LP.
I listened to both, and finally bought the LP digitally on beatport, cause it was more than enough tracks, also it was the best tracks!
