He dies in The Patriot, but it's an unimaginable hard time for his family. I'm so sorry for his child as well.

I know some didnt really care for him up until his Joker role in Batman but I really liked him. He was a funny man and really cool. It's such a shame, a mourn for him... such a horrible tragedy really. Another talented actor to die this year and we're only a few weeks into 2008... :shock:

Obviously everything will depend on what his family decides. He looks really awesome in this film too.... Poor guy

i knew it had set backs because someone died on set, and then heath died after they were done filming or atleast filming his parts. so i've no idea

All of the new takes on villains - scarecrow, joker, twoface - are so awesome. They're half true to the original characters and half fresh. I think that's what all superhero movie characters should be.

Can't wait for this movie!

Looks good. Can't help but think of The Crow and Brandon Lee when seeing Ledger. He should be good but it's another thing if he can top Nicholson's performance. We'll see. Christian Bale sure was the perfect choice for Batman. He was already ace in Batman Begings. Should be even better in this.
