Bloody typical, I don't come online till now and miss all the excitement last night..

Well what can I say, raggametalpunk you are the man. This is just the sort of recordings we'd been waiting for.

I still think I prefer WoD out of the three tracks (I just luuuurve that old True Faith sample so much!), but the other two are pretty close to perfection too.

The main keyboard riff sample on Unstoppable at 1:53 sounds almost exactly like the synth stabs on Altern 8's 'Armageddon' to me. Anyone else agree?

I think Liam must have been going through his oldskool collection for the last few months...

You're right, but it was already identified a couple of days ago by James Jupiter..

Does any one here think that the new tunes will sound different when the album drops??? I got a feelin liam might make a few tweaks here and there and a few more sounds and wot not.....

Reason why I say that ... is cuz, he's said in the past that he doesn't like to drop new material cuz everyone is on it straight away and its all over the net!
(Or something to that effect?)

Sooo ... I'm thinking he might make changes, so that when the album does come out it they would have changed slightly ???? I personally think "Unstoppable" needs a few more things on there. "Worlds On Fire" is to me sounding more like a finished tune. I dunno?? what do you think? and "Warriors Dance" that too is sounding more like a finished tune ... but liam could change them slightly .....

Cuz its early days yet for these tunes. Its the first time they have been played out, so im expecting changes here and there.... :-D

Either way .... The new tunes are rockin!!!!!

it does sound like that tho!

That's on Worlds on Fire. I'm talking about Unstoppable.

I mean the one that sounds like 'dumdumdum' (lower note) 'dumdumdee' for the first 20 seconds or so at the start of Armageddon, not the ascending pianoesque sample you mean.

It's more noticeable from 2:35-3:00 too.

I knew what it was as soon as I heard it in Sheffield.

By the way, as good as these recordings are, a lot of 'detail' is missing from them. They were recorded from the left side of the stage so whatever was coming out of the right hand side speakers will hardly have been picked up. 'Warriors Dance' for example, had loads of bass live but you can't tell from the recording.

I see your point. And I agree. He tweaked the shit out of BGAT for instance, but that really didnt make it much better :)

Either way, WD needs a bit more polishing and thats it. Unstoppable has to get some more work. TBH, I'll be hearing the tunes live in about 2 weeks so I'll make some more exact comments then.
