I used to be a "good fan", and still love their A Rush of Blood to the Head, after a great debut album with Parachutes. X&Y got me upset, and even tired of them, didn't like it although it contains some good tracks, and after attending their shows in Madrid from small clubs to large arenas. I've heard a pair of songs of their upcoming album, and got disappointed as well, as they announced some changes in their music, a little development, but it seems the new album may be "more from the same", hope I am wrong, as I know they have the talent, as someone pointed out.

I liked X&Y.

If they remain the same, I won't complain.

Coldplay are shit and Chris Martin is a cunt, they try SO HARD to be like the untouchable and most talented musicians in the world = Radiohead.

You have a point mate Chris Martin is a bit of a cunt. But I like their music and don't follow them enough to care haha. Always wanted to see them live though!

I agree with Radiohead, they are one of the most talented bands. Don't agree with Chris or Coldplay wanting to be like Radiohead, I really see Chris Martin wanting to be like U2.

 Chris Martin is a cunt - made me laugh! I've got respect for Coldplay, despite being one of the biggest bands in the world they still rock up round each others houses and sit about listening to music they love, drawing inspiration and fucking about! I like them, I can see they're almost SO perfect that people hate them but fuck it! It's good music and I can't wait to hear the new album - Violet Hill has an Ian Brown feel to it (which is definately a good thing). At the end of the day it's the music that matters and they sit in the same category of musicians as the Stone Roses as far as i'm concerned - not just good at writing songs, they can all also REALLY play their instruments. I can't wait for the new album, liking Coldplay is almost a cliche but who cares? Big beat is almost a cliche these days but fuck anyone who doesn't like Warriors Dance! Fuck them right in the ear.

New song Viva la Vida. Pretty good, a bit different from coldplay. Bit more racey, sounds like it's influenced by U2! Like it though
