Recently after hearing Warrior's Dance i opened my old 'Experience' folder of tuneage and was really digging some of the Remixes Liam had done at this time ( Jesus Jones, Front242 trance mix, Bug Kahn and Plastic Jam )
Liam stopped doing this in the Jilted, FOTL and AONO era but now in this new era should he use the Prodigy sound on other artist tracks or remixes or keep it within the band?
All the Dirt Candy demo stuff recently posted suggests he may do at some point...
I'm not sure what my opinion is really. Would it dilute proper Prodigy music?

The more the merrier in my book but I couldn't imagine another artist having the patience to have their album produced by Liam.
Liam - Yeah, the album I'm producing for you is nearly finished.
Artist - You said that 3 years ago!

yeah
I want Liam to make music (because he is a music master)
so remixing and producing for other people is included in the previous statement
and Liam producing for other people, I'm sure he isn't as perfectionnist as he is when producing a Prodigy album, because when he's doing it, he's not doing in the name of "The Prodigy"

Once the prodigys finished liam should deffinetly go into production. Although that would mean stalling other artist songs for a decade or so.... haha.
I'm on a real Liam bitching session tonight can't help myself..

I been thinking for a while that a good way for the Prodigy to get in peoples faces again before the new album drops is to do a kick ass remix of a track by someone mainstream or in the charts today. He'd make it better than the original by a 10000000000000 (like Release yo' Delf was)
As sometimes a remix is more liked than the original it might get more airplay and then get people talking about the "Prodigy Remix" of .....
Just like alot of people found out about Pendulum for the Voodoo People remix.

The Prodigy are well established as a band and don't need "to get in peoples faces again" Most people in the industry know and respect them as pioneers plus unless Liam did this for fun or for a mate, I'm pretty sure he would charge megabucks these days. He may just go into producing other peoples music in the future but I'm sure for now the emphasis is on the three of them (Keith, Liam, Maxim) as a unit.

nah i think it would be a cool thing if he done it, at least he'd be able to expand his influences and styles more.

thats what I'm saying. when I said "get in peoples faces" i aint talkin industry bullshit. Im talkin about the average jackass on the street who goes "Prodigy? oh yeh u mean firestarter and breathe? all their music sounds the same" all that type of shit.
The type of shit I hear all the time from people who listen to absolute crap.
Thats all I'm saying. I want there to be a track playin on the radio and people sayin to me "oh yeh this is wicked" and me going "thats the prodigy!" or "thats Prodigy remixing that shit"
Depending on the way the album is marketed and if they get decent radio play I'm not sure if people will even know new shit is out.
Except us!

^Ah ok, most people I know know what The Prodigy are about but that might well be an age thing. Anyway I voted for producing, no remixes as it would seem to be the logical step for Liam, just hope Keith and Maxim don't get too bored
